After tightly closing the door to his room, Arson immediately threw the bag containing his laptop. Not forgetting his flat object was also the target of Arson's anger. Fortunately, the man threw his two objects right on the mattress and did not cause damage to his laptop and cell phone. If not, it would make Arson even more upset because all work data is on these two important objects.
Arson's annoyance did not end there, the man then kicked his mattress repeatedly. He wanted to destroy everything in his room, but he thought if he did that, surely all his family members, especially his father, would know about it. Arson did not want them all to ask the reason behind his anger because he could not tell them all. There was no way he could tell them why he was upset and jealous that a man was trying to get close to Kylie.
Arson didn't have the guts to say that he loved Kylie, but he wasn't ready for Drake to separate them because surely his father would never approve of the love between them. It was impossible to expect his father's blessing and Arson was afraid to hope. He also didn't want Kylie to be taken away by Drake. He was not ready if he had to separate and cut off communication access with the woman he loved. That's why he chose that it was better for him to harbor the feelings he had, who knows how long it could last, than to be kept away from Kylie because for Arson, currently the encouragement in his life is this beautiful woman.
"Devian is an asshole! How dare he want to get close to Kylie," Arson cursed while continuing to swing his legs. It was all he could do not caring about the noise he was making because it would not be heard outside his room. After all, the man had equipped his room with soundproofing. Sounds made from outside could be heard inside his room, but not the other way around.
Arson also approached the closet and did the same thing, he threw his foot quite strongly and fortunately did not cause any damage there because the object was made of very thick material.
Drake's first son immediately speculated that Devian liked Kaili even though he had just met the second brother of the club for the first time.
The man Kylie loved was trying hard to hold himself back. He repeatedly tried to calm his heart so as not to get carried away.
"Kylie's right, I don't have any right to prevent her from getting close to anyone. Let alone prevent her from getting to know a man because I'm only her eldest brother, not a lover!" Arson said while looking at his reflection in the mirror in front of him.
"But you don't have to emphasize it like that, Kyl. Your words are very hurtful! You don't understand. You don't think about my feelings. I love you. I'm not willing to let you be with another man. Let alone being with another man, just staring at him, I couldn't resist beating him up! If it wasn't for the sake of our family name, then I would have finished him off earlier," said Arson again, who still had his hands on his waist.
Arson sighed repeatedly, but his irritation and emotions still did not subside. Moreover, a glimpse of Devian's face when looking at Kylie continued to dance in his eyes.
"I love you, Kylie! I love you so much! Don't you realize that?" Arson shouted while throwing his leg again and hitting several inanimate objects in his room.
The man did not care if he felt pain in his legs later, and could even get injured if he was not in the right position.
"I have to get Kylie away from that man. At all costs and no matter if Kylie gets mad at me!" the man said again as he placed both hands on the nightstand with a very creepy look. It was a good thing no one was watching.
Meanwhile, in a different room. Kylie also looked confused by the attitude shown by Arson who did not like her being friends with Devian.
"Arson, if only I could say this right in front of you, then I would ask you not to continue to pay more attention to me because I can't help myself. You don't know how much I love you. Just looking into your eyes can make this feeling even bigger, let alone anything else," Kylie said. The girl is now standing in front of the window of her room with her arms crossed.
"Are you jealous, Son, if you see me close to another man like Devian? I wish I was, but it's impossible, isn't it? The reality is that it's just a wish of mine and I have to be slapped with the fact that it's just a brother's worry. Isn't that how you feel?" Kylie monologued again while holding back the tears that were already welling up in her blue beads.
"Mommy, I'm sorry for loving your eldest son. I also don't know why I have these feelings for Arson. I beg you not to punish and hate me because I don't want to, but what can I do when that love strikes me? I'm not asking to be united because that's never going to happen. I just want to ask to be with him for a short while, as long as I'm in the same country as him. After that I would stay away and be completely gone until none of them could access my whereabouts of them can access my whereabouts. It may sound impossible, but I'll ask Daddy to help me do it." Kylie spoke again and unconsciously her tears flowed down her cheeks. The girl was at a loss as to what was going through her head at the moment, even the sentences that came out were a little difficult for her to understand.
Dinner time arrived. One by one, the Adams family members gathered at the dinner table, as did Kylie. However, the girl looked confused. After getting there, she didn't find Arson in the middle of the other families, usually the man had been there first or even invited himself to the dining table together.
Kylie sat in her usual place while occasionally glancing at the empty chair beside her.
Drake asked his son and daughter-in-law to enjoy dinner immediately, making Kylie wonder where her brother was.
"Where's Arson Dad?" Kylie asked before enjoying the meal in front of her.
"Arson had dinner in his room. He still has a lot of work to do," Drake Adams replied.
Kylie immediately glanced at Valery who was now staring at her. It seemed that Drake did not know the problem between her and Arson. Drake's eldest son was still trying to cover up Kylie's mistake this afternoon. The girl immediately rounded her lips and then nodded faintly.
"How was it? Was today fun?" Drake asked his youngest daughter.
The beautiful girl who grew her heart for Arson turned to her father and nodded her head.
"It was fun Dad," she replied.
"It's good that your friends can make you happy," Drake said, smiling at Kylie.
"Can I still go play with Chloe and Daisy later?" asked Kylie. The girl was afraid of not being permitted by her father.
Drake smiled again. "Go whenever you want, as long as you keep your guard up!" said Drake.
"Okay, Dad. Thanks a lot," Kylie said and the girl looked back down at the food on her plate.
Did Arson not tell Daddy that I came home late? Kylie asked herself.
"Daddy," Kylie called out and managed to make Drake stop his hand movements.
"What's wrong baby?" Drake asked his youngest daughter.
Not only was Drake staring at Kylie, but all four people at the table were also looking at the beautiful girl.
"Is it okay if I invite Chloe and Daisy over later?" Kylie asked her father.
Drake smiled in response to his daughter's question.
"No problem. Anytime you want to bring them here, Daddy never minds," Drake replied.
The man didn't mind Kylie's two friends Drake thought it was much better than his favorite daughter being outside. That way the safety of his favorite daughter was maintained because there would be no one, not even enemies, who could enter his mansion area.
"Thank you so much, Dad," Kylie said again because Drake granted her request.
After finishing dinner Kylie, who still felt guilty to Arson, tried to go to the man in the room. At least she wanted to apologize for making Arson offended by her words, even though the man did not join their dinner as usual. Kylie also wanted to thank Arson for not reporting her mistake.
In the room, Arson didn't even do anything at all. He sat on the sofa directly facing the window of his room, and he even opened the curtains wide so that he could see the night that accompanied his heartbreak.
Being alone like this can at least make his heart a little calm. In the middle of his reverie Arson heard a knock on the door. The man immediately grabbed his iPad and then looked at the object which turned out to have been connected to a small camera located in front of the door to his room, so he could find out who came to his room.
Arson could see that the woman he loved was standing there waiting for him to open the door. He knew that Kylie would not leave until he opened the door and would not leave until he met her.
Arson could not be ignorant either, let alone keep Kylie quiet for a long time. The man hurriedly stood up and then stepped towards the door.
Kylie could hear the sound of the door being opened by someone.
It wasn't long before the man she was looking for was standing in front of her with a flat face.
"What's wrong?" Arson asked with a cold face.
"Can I come in?" Kylie asked back.
Arson didn't answer, he just shifted his body out of the way and let his favorite girl in.
Kylie smiled and stepped inside, her eyes catching something. Arson's untouched dinner was still sitting on the table. Kylie walked closer to the food and sure enough, it still looked intact.
"Why haven't you finished your dinner yet?" asked Kylie while looking at Arson.
There was no answer from the man, he just walked away and sat back down on the sofa.
"Arson, I'm asking you. Why haven't you eaten yet?" Kylie asked again then stepped closer to the handsome man.
"I'm not hungry," Arson replied briefly without looking at Kylie who was currently standing next to him.
"Eat a little, you'll get sick," Kylie said to Arson.
"No need to give me your concern because I'm not a lover, let alone your husband," Arson said with his gaze still directed forward.
"Isn't that so?" asked Arson who then turned to Kylie.
Kylie, who heard that, gasped because the words first came out of her mouth and now Arson followed her words. It was really painful, that's how Kylie felt.
Why did it hurt so much to hear Arson's words? Is this also how he felt this afternoon when I said it? Kylie asked in her heart.
It felt like Kylie wanted to cry in front of Arson, but she couldn't because it would arouse suspicion from the man. Kylie wasn't ready for Arson to know the feelings she had.
"I'm sorry if my words hurt you earlier. I didn't mean to offend you. I came here to say that and I hope you won't be angry with me anymore," Kylie said to Arson who was trying hard to hold back the sadness he was feeling.
Kylie continued to stare at Arson who seemed not to care and also ignored Kylie's existence.
