Love at First Sight

1011 Words
Arson already knows that Kylie is currently playing at Chloe's house at the request of her friend. The man also looked as nervous as Dixon felt, Arson was afraid that something would happen to Kylie considering that it seemed that the woman he loved was being targeted by someone, where the old man was a tool to lure Kylie into the trap made by the man. Arson told himself not to let his guard down because, until this moment, neither he nor Juan knew the whereabouts of the old man, not even the slightest trace that they could use to find out who was behind all this. That's what makes Arson so sure that Kylie's life is in danger. Late afternoon. It was time for everyone who worked to return to their respective homes to immediately rest their bodies from the fatigue of a full day's work. So did Arson, the man who drove through the crowded streets. Previously, he was not too excited to go home and preferred to spend time in the office with work piling up, but now after Kylie's return from Germany, he was more excited and wanted to spend more time at home. Especially in the afternoons, and into the evenings as Kylie was already at home spending time with her family. It was a golden opportunity for Arson to always be close to Kylie, without anyone suspecting him. After parking his car, Arson squinted because he didn't find Kylie's car parked there. "Is she home yet?" he asked as he circled the entire parking lot and sure enough, he couldn't find any of Kylie's cars there. Arson quickly got out of the car and stepped inside. The man was still thinking, it could be that the car of the girl he loved was having problems and went home without using the car he gave her. Just in front of the main door of their mansion, Arson immediately asked the guard at the front entrance. "Is Kylie back yet?" "Not yet, sir," he replied after greeting their first young master. Arson turned around and half ran to his car to pick up Kylie. Not forgetting that Arson also called Gervin to ask about the whereabouts of the woman he loved, the man did not want Kylie's life to be in danger. After getting an answer from Garvin, Kylie was still at Chloe's residence and made the man drive his car at full speed which was certainly accompanied by some of his men. All of Arson's men immediately got back into their respective cars after seeing their young master doing the same thing with anxious faces. Arson continued to increase the speed of his car, he didn't care if he was labeled arrogant while on the road by other motorists because of course they all knew that the one who had just passed was one of the Adams family members. Arson's thoughts at the moment are how to quickly get to Chloe's residence and bring Kylie home. This was what he didn't like about Kylie being too close to other people, the girl seemed to forget about time. Arson would prefer if Kylie brought her friends home that way Juan, Garvin, and the others could continue to monitor Kylie's condition. There was less chance of anything happening that could jeopardize the safety of the woman who managed to make him fall in love. "Come on, let's go home, it's late afternoon. I'm afraid our families will find us and worry about us," Kylie told Daisy. The simple girl nodded. "Come on!" she replied. Daisy wanted to go home, but she didn't dare say the words because it sounded very rude. Daisy could see that Kylie still felt at home at Chloe's house. "Wait a little longer until Dixon gets home. Don't you want to meet my brother?" Chloe said to her two friends. Kylie turned to Daisy, and vice versa. "Later Chloe, I'm afraid Daddy and my four siblings are worried because it's been too long," Kylie replied. "Kylie's right Chloe. We'll come back when we have time," Daisy said. "Yes, but you have to promise," said the girl who owned the house. Kylie and Daisy nodded simultaneously. The two girls stood up and asked Chloe to call Devian because they wanted to say goodbye, honoring the man as the brother of the owner of the house. Just as Chloe wanted to step into Devian's room, she was suddenly surprised by the man's presence. "You happened to be out. Kylie and Daisy wanted to say goodbye to you," Chloe told her brother. Devian walked, following Chloe's lead to Kylie and Daisy. "Are you guys going home?" Devian asked pleasantly with his eyes fixed on Kylie. Both girls nodded their heads in unison. "So soon. Why don't we have dinner together first? Dixon will be home soon," said Devian, who tried to hold Kylie and Daisy back. "We've been out of the house for too long, we're afraid our parents will come looking for us," Kylie replied. A little disappointed, that's what Devian felt. He hoped Kylie could stay a little longer in their house. However, Devian also realized that he could not hold the two girls, especially Kylie. Devian didn't want to have to deal with the Adams family. "Alright then, be careful on the road. If there's another chance, play here so Chloe doesn't feel lonely," Devian said again. It was a good reason for the man to see Kylie's face again, and even get to know Drake's favorite daughter better. "Yeah, we'll be here again if Chloe invites us both. Right, Daisy?" Kylie replied as she asked and turned to the girl standing next to her. Daisy nodded firmly, confirming Kylie's words. "Of course, I'll take you guys here, as long as Kylie is permitted by Lord Drake," said Chloe, who was very happy to hear Kylie's answer. Devian continued to stare at Kylie, his heart truly trembling for the girl. Is this what is called falling in love? Really? asked Devian in his heart.
