Chloe and Daisy's Sadness

After seeing the departure of his eldest son, Drake quickly stood up and immediately invited Juan to leave his office immediately, they were going somewhere. Remembering the words she said to Kylie and Chloe asking the two girls to stay away from her because she didn't deserve to be Kylie and Chloe's friend made Daisy continue to daydream, even the girl couldn't hold back her tears over the sadness of losing both friends at once. Daisy really couldn't refuse her parents' request to stay away from Kylie and finally, she decided to stay away from Chloe too because she felt bad if she only stayed away from the daughter of Drake Adams. The simple girl did not want to misunderstand Kylie because what she would get was very risky.

To be honest, Daisy didn't want to lose her two friends. Not because Kylie and Chloe have a high position on their campus, especially Kylie. However, Daisy sees and strongly believes that only those two people are truly sincere friends with her. Especially Chloe who has helped her a lot, even though she couldn't get rid of Viola like Kylie did yesterday.

"I'm sorry, Kyl, Chloe. I hope you guys don't hate and consider me an enemy. I don't want Viola's bullying to happen again," Daisy said.

Understanding the confusion felt by Dixon, made Chloe say again, "Daisy chose to stay away from me and also Kylie because she did not want to be seen as only utilizing the power Kylie had."

Chloe went on to explain everything Daisy had said when they were on campus. Chloe also told Dixon that she was really sad to lose a friend like Daisy. She has known the simple girl for a long time and does not feel used by Daisy at all. It was Daisy who several times tried to cover up the crimes committed by Viola from her, so that she would not get angry and do something to the girl who had been expelled from the Adams family's campus.

Now Dixon just understood the question asked by Chloe earlier.

Dixon noticed it was very different from before when Chloe always said that her days were ordinary. Nothing special, let alone making her laugh like Kylie and Daisy are doing right now.

"Right? Because it's impossible for Daisy to suddenly say something like that if nothing is underlying it. So what should I do to get our friendship back to the way it was yesterday? I also don't want Kylie to misunderstand, especially if this matter reaches Mr. Drake's ears, Daisy and her family's existence could be threatened," Chloe said with a fearful face if something bad happened to her friend because the girl knew how Kylie's family was.

"I don't have any idea what you guys should do because I've never been friends with any of the Adams' kids. To be honest... I'm also actually scared if you get too close to the Adams family, scared if they misunderstand. I don't want you to be subjected to Mr. Drake's sadism, let alone Kylie's four brothers. They're all notoriously cruel, but I can't forbid you from being friends with anyone. I know how picky you are with your friends and not just anyone can make you comfortable like Kylie and Daisy do."

"I hope you can be careful. Don't offend the Adams family because all I have right now is you and Devian!" Dixon said, sounding very sad in Chloe's ears.

"You don't have to worry, I can take care of myself. Daisy and I never talk about anything too heavy either, just normal conversation and more about lessons," Chloe replied to her eldest sister's words.

Several luxury cars were parked in front of someone's minimalist house, soon more than 10 well-built men got out and lined up not far from the main door of the house. Someone's luxurious shoes got out of the car and stepped firmly into the house that was already guarded by several people, the man was still wearing his suit, he didn't even have time to change clothes first to meet with this person. All the people around the house immediately went into their respective houses, they did not want to be targeted by the man who still looked handsome even though he was half a century old.

Drake stared at the house in front of him.

A knock on the door was heard from the residents of the house, making the two married couples look at each other.

"Who's here? Did you invite your friend here?" a middle-aged woman asked the man sitting next to her.

"Come on, let's see!" the woman invited again.

The man nodded and stood up to follow his wife. With quick steps, the couple headed towards the main door of their house to quickly see who the visitor was.

The middle-aged woman stood behind her husband, inviting him to open the door. After the door opened, the two people were shocked to the point of wide-eyed surprise when they realized that a very familiar man was alone in front of them. Suddenly the couple's faces looked deathly pale, and they even felt that their hearts and breathing began to slow down, to the point of almost stopping.
