“I don't know how long I'll be gone, but I really need you to be here.“ I told Tyler the morning of the judgment day.
“Yes, Alpha.“
“I know you're not happy about it, but I can't risk them thinking this is an opportunity to ruin everything that is working in the pack.“
“I'll do anything that's required of me, Alpha.“
I nodded in satisfaction. “I would make you Alpha, but you have no experience at all, so I'm going to make Connor the interim Alpha. You are to watch and report back to me when I get back on his every movement.“
“Yes, Alpha.“
“Good. Now call him for me.“
He went out and returned with Connor a few minutes later.
“You called for me.“
“Yes, Connor. Please have your seat.“
“Is this regarding Casey?“ He asked when we got seated.
