Maka and Midas are holding hands as they are walking to the lake. He tells her that he is Adrian's youngest brother. That he doesn't know all the details yet. But he wanted her to know before they mark and complete the mating process.
Maka is shocked because she never knew that Adrian had a younger brother. She realizes that she might have to leave her father and the pack. "Midas I don't want to leave from here. My father is here."
He pulls her into him. "We are not leaving the pack. But we will have to visit the palace sometime. They have made it all this time without me. Adrian is the king, not me."
She lays her head against his chest. "That explains the mark on your wolf's thigh. I always wondered about that. I thought it was just a birthmark."
