After Midas walks Maka to her room. He sees the light is on in his mother's room. So he knocks on the door. Because she has been acting distracted all day. He has no idea why.
Madelyn is nervous about the Alpha King being there. Midas keeps looking at the way she is fidgeting. His mother picks up his father's picture then sits it back down on the shelf.
"Mother I have never seen you so nervous before. What is going on?" He looks at her concerned.
She walks over to the window. "Just stay away from the Alpha King. Don't ask me any questions." Madelyn folds her arms.
Midas is looking at his mother confused. "Why wouldn't she want me around him. The only way I will know is to ask the king." He is thinking.
