Chapter 18: A Day at the OfficeHoward rose early Monday morning and quickly dressed. When he came downstairs Jason had made coffee, and omelets. He was sautéing some tomatoes on the stove when Howard entered the kitchen.
“I remembered you loved these,” Jason said, pushing the tomatoes back and forth in olive oil with a spatula, and then lightly salting them.
“I really think you could move onto lunch and dinner if you tried,” Howard said. “Those look delicious, and your cooking skills seem to be improving.”
Jason smiled at him and nodded for him to sit down. Once Howard was seated, Jason brought him a cup of black coffee and put a plate in front of him.
“I want you to have a good start today,” Jason said.
