I pace nervously after Lane linked me with what happened to Evan. Adira has been muttering and acting as irritated as Axton said Phoenix is. I’ve been hoping he would call me but I’m sure he’s in the middle of interrogating their prisoners now. I knew Reyanne was a piece of s**t but to be kidnapping Evan is extreme regardless of the reasons. Hearing Xavier admit she was his chosen mate makes my skin crawl. She could be his damn daughter.
The air in the packhouse is oppressive and I need to get out. Adira is prancing around restlessly and urges me to leave. “We can go check on Evan. Let’s go Bells.”
I quickly link Mimi and tell her where I am going. “Careful Bellamy. I will follow behind you.”
Adira is on high alert too as we make the short walk to the hospital. Nothing happens
