CHAPTER 2

At last, the bell rang and I went to the canteen to collect my lunch. I was just waiting for Gaurav when the most popular boy stood near my table and eyed my body. I was getting uncomfortable, but I can never show him this. I decided to confront him. “Have you finished checking me out? I would appreciate it if you leave me alone,” I yelled at him, watching Gaurav running towards us from the corner of my eyes. I felt relieved at once. “No, I have not finished. You have good boobs and a tight ass. I want you to accompany me as my dance partner. Dare to say no and imagine the worst for yourself,” he continued, making me angry. “Can't you see that she is not interested in you? She is my girlfriend and don't dare do anything to her. She is going to the dance with me,” Gaurav interjected, much to my relief. I looked towards the bad boy whose name I never cared to know. He was livid. He said, “You will pay for this my sexy Jessie...,” and went away. I gulped in fear. How does he know my name? Well, I guess he has enough servants to provide him information about anyone he needs but I don't care. I looked at Gaurav and gave him a sad smile. Thankfully, he was composed and he started rubbing my back soothingly. “You are going to stay with me till the college party,” he muttered. I was definitely surprised. He was not the type of guy to order anyone. I tried to protest but he cut me off. “You are staying with me. You are very precious for me and I don't want to lose you,” My chest swelled with happiness. After the college, the boy again came in front of me. “ My name is Shahid and you can call me that,” he said. “Please, can you stop talking to me? I have to go,” I tried passing him but he suddenly held my waist. “I know that you are angry with me sweetheart. Listen, ditch Gaurav and come with me to this party and I will reward you by staying by your side forever.” “Please save this reward for the girl whom you will love, Shahid. I love Gaurav and I can't stay without him.” “Oh, so I never realized that he is the one creating barrier. I will kill him and you will have nowhere to go.” “Look Shahid, leave me. I have to go to the library. My shift is starting. And never dare to lay a finger on him.” Saying this, I detached his hands from my waist and started walking towards the library where I work. Of course, you guessed it right. I work in library because of my love for books. I normally sit after my shift and read books. ;-)
