Battles with spiders turned into fights that were difficult to control. Dan didn't understand how to develop his skills. In the end, he and Tom decided to use only the skills of a master vampire. The attack technique was important. But the other two techniques were completely lost in importance. The defensive move only blocked 3 percent of the damage! That is negligible and unimportant. The vampire hit converted 3 percent of his damage to health. Dan was doing 163 points of damage and only getting three points in health. It was a paltry drop. Such a disgusting quality of skill required recovery. A normal skill commanded respect, but now it turned into a mockery.

When the adventurers entered the depths of the dungeon the tunnels increased in size slightly. Now the two swordsmen were free to fight next to each other. But the spiders never attacked as a group. It was a good thing because only Dan was free to dodge the sticky web.
The princess calmed down and began to attack the spiders more seriously. Elina didn't understand the difficulties of her acquaintances. She didn't see that her techniques had become weaker. The princess decided that the monsters in the new world were more dangerous and interesting to fight.
Tom didn't let his friend get frustrated with the new requirements for fighting skills. Has it become harder to play? Great! New challenges and obstacles added variety to life. It didn't take much strength to destroy the spiders. The monsters were not superior in strength and speed. The clone realized that their development in this world could be done carefully and not in a hurry.
Dan tried to apply the main skills only in the final battle with another spider. He felt more at ease now. He liked this dungeon. It was dry and had enough light to spot the enemy. The spiders posed no threat. The young man was worried about the princess. Very soon they stopped playing the game of increasing resistance to poison. Dan became more active in applying the Healing spell to the girl. He liked that she enjoyed doing her favorite thing. The princess' movements were a pleasure to watch.
The dungeon was large. After a few hours, the whole group stopped. People wanted to rest and eat. The brave hobbits got their food and listened intently to the conversation.
"Elina, how do you intend to talk to the important people in town? I am not experienced in political matters. But it's clear to me that no one likes to share power," Dan said.
"You talk nonsense," laughed the girl. "If my power helps establish good order I will be listened to. It's important to me that other colleagues see the benefits of my involvement in political affairs."
"And what benefits can you provide? Politics is not witchcraft. There are no political spells that have an undeniably beneficial effect." Tom did not understand how a princess could gain some power in a new place. It seemed to him that power was like wealth. No one wants to share their possessions with an outsider.
"I need to get a good look at the state of local affairs first. That's why I take my time and don't cause trouble or excitement to the representatives of the local Community Council," the princess said calmly.
She saw no point in rushing and doing rash things. Soon Algrin would join her, and then they could begin to act. She certainly couldn't get much help from these silly swordsmen in a delicate matter.
"I wish you luck," Dan smiled. "I know you're not a silly girl. I'm sorry I can't help you with such a difficult case."
"Think of the vampire Rudolph," the princess reminded him. "That no-good vampire has hurt me and you. Now there will be a duel. He is a strong opponent."
"Nothing bad will happen," laughed Tom. "We won't take any chances and just destroy him as the main monster in this dungeon. You've seen us destroy big monsters."
The princess nodded and remembered that Baron Raven's method was cruel and devious. But against vicious monsters, all methods are acceptable.
"You don't worry if a vampire appeals to your way of fighting. It's not fair. Two against one is not fair," the princess shook her head.
"It's not decent to harass calm people with demands to fight a duel. And it's okay to use a spell in a duel. I have a very strong spell and I am not shy about using it. Rudolph chose his own opponent. I didn't force or provoke him. I hope there won't be any big problems," Dan said and suggested we continue through the dungeon. "Let's speed up. I want to get to the main spider as fast as possible. I wonder what trophies will fall from it."
After resting, the group headed forward with renewed vigor.
A few hours later the humans received new information about the local conditions of the game. The dungeon was simple and there was no complicated labyrinth system. The group moved forward quietly and wasted no time exploring the side branches. When the warriors reached the large cave with the main monster everyone began to examine this amazing monster.
The spider was very large and scary. Its body rose several meters above the floor of the cave. Its long and thick paws had sharp claws. This spider was covered with shiny hairs and its body had protection. From the spider's largemouth, venom dripped from its large teeth onto the ground. Dan had seen many spider bosses before. He wasn't interested in another monster. The description of the monster did not surprise the warrior in any way.

"Familiar qualities. We've seen this kind of monster before that likes to hide in invisibility. This boss has excellent health regeneration. But it won't cause any problems," the clone noted. Tom began to prepare for the fight and applied the skill Walk of Caution.
"Elina, I'm sorry, but you won't see anything interesting. We must not joke with such an adversary, and it is better to destroy him in the most reliable way," the young man warned. He felt no excitement at all.
"The princess snorted and watched as the spider met the threat.
The huge monster did not notice the invisible enemy. Tom wasted no time. He quickly sprang toward the monster and delivered his most powerful punch. A scarlet flash of patron skill marked the start of the fight. It could not, however, be called a fight or a duel. Friends had long been quiet about the matter. The usual destruction of yet another monster.
The spider squealed and tried to strike at the invisible enemy. In the first minute of the fight, the spider applied its skill and disappeared from sight. This was the most unpleasant period of the confrontation. For a couple of minutes, the clone tried to catch the invisible opponent. He managed to detect the spider. The adversary was very large. A new flash of scarlet flashed in the cave and the spider took a new batch of damage. No regeneration helped and the monster's health decreased more and more.
Dan bought new swords and stood with a new weapon in his hand. The new phantom snatched the sword and applied invisibility.
"Not interesting," resented the princess. "No spider in sight. You can't see Tom. You are a very dangerous opponent, Baron Raven."
"I don't envy Rudolph," laughed the young man.
The princess shook her head. This boy is capable of bringing a great deal of disorder to any city. He has already proved that in Grossroads.
The princess thought her ally might give her trouble. They were both newcomers and belonged to the same nation. But unlike her, Dan Raven did not know how to act discreetly. He acted like a warrior. That might have inconvenienced any rulers who valued order. On the other hand, the young man was in no hurry to make changes in the new world. He had many problems of his own. And only constant visits to the dungeons would help the warrior achieve perfection. Completing missions was a good thing. Baron Raven would gain a lot of reputation and not act as a troublemaker. A duel with a vampire will teach everyone that the young man is not the right opponent to mess with.
Soon the huge monster was killed and the friends were upset that they didn't get any great trophies. A few pieces of good ore and a cloak that could equip a hero with the class of assassin. No one was interested in light armor at that level.
"This is an interesting place. Let's go back to town and continue our acquaintance with the new circumstances," the clone suggested.
