Chapter 11

"The art of seduction is knowing  what she really wants and slowly  giving it to her in a way  that takes her breath away." -Unknown   Hunter Dominic Valdez's PoV: I watched a blonde tall boy force himself onto her. That breathtaking woman looked troubled, like the kind that needed saving. Should I step in? Or will it be too much? After all, that girl just ditched me in the VIP lounge. Shaking my thoughts aside I began to advance. The woman squirmed and wriggled, but the man continued to move his hands over her body. Suddenly, a sense of rage flickered inside me. It was like a button that went off. A few strides later, my hand shot out and I pulled the man off her. A moment later, he laid on the floor reeking of alcohol.  He was way too drunk to even register what had happened just now. Grace stood tipsy and trying to comprehend what happened. She looked gorgeous, men obviously drooled over her. As I watched, she stumbled to me. Another step and she was tripping when I caught her just in time. My hand went around her waist and her back pressed against my front. Her peachy figure and curves were fitting perfectly with mine. I swear, it almost turned me on with the way her hips slightly grind against me. Was it wrong that I wanted to take her right then? Her head slightly tilted back to look at me and our eyes met. I was on the verge of losing control when I felt a hand on my shoulder, and I almost knew what was coming. Pushing Grace out from my grip, I barely managed to dodge the delivered punch. Wasn't he lying on the floor just now? Balancing myself, I found the drunk blondie delivering unarmed punches. He isn't going to keep up long, I bet he if he can even see clearly. That's what I hate, weirdos getting drunk as hell in clubs and being a pain in a** afterward. Grace wasn't doing well either, why did that girl do two rounds? Although the way she had gulped one shot after another back then, was seductive. Grabbing her hand, I ushered her into the VIP lounge.  She was drunk, but not as much as that blonde guy. "W-who do you think you are?" She managed to speak as she tried to balance herself. "Where is your friend?" I asked and her delicious lips turned into a pout. "F*ck you. Get me a drink go!" I raised a brow at her change of attitude. "I think you've had enough, besides-" I stopped mid-sentence when my phone rang. Putting a hand around Grace's waist and steadying her, I put the phone to my ear. "Hello?" I said as she swung in my arm. "Hunter where are you?" Mom's cool voice came and I mentally face palmed myself. Not the perfect timing. "I am out, why?" The girl in my arm wasn't planning on staying still and I pulled her closer. "Meet me at your home, I am on my way." My mouth almost hung open. "What why?" I said just as a moan reached my ear and I froze. Grace, by now had laid her head on my chest. She looked so peacefully calm, and that explained the moan coming from her. However, Mom didn't seem to think that way. "Hunter are you with someone?" Her icy voice turned cooler as if it wasn't enough already. I was already losing my control after having a sexy girl in my arms, moaning but it all had to happen when Mom decided to call. "You're back to being a playboy aren't you? Oh, God." She was beginning to freak out. "Listen, it's not that. Can you come tomorrow?" Grace's hand was slowly making its way up to my jaw and I swear one more move and I'll take her right here. "I'll call you later, bye," I said before she could say anything. Mom can really be annoying at times, like now. Suddenly my mind was distracted by a soft palm caressing my face. I looked down to find her wrapped in my arms as she looked up at me, wondered. Her blue ones were filled with desire and admiration, something I wasn't used to be looked up to. Slowly, her hand moved to my lips and her gaze flickered to my lips. Her thumb slightly hovered over my lips, and I felt my control gave in. Something clicked in me like a restraint that broke when her thumb pressed against my lips. Is she feeling the same? Even if she doesn't, it won't matter. It will only be a one-night stand if I... I leaned in, ever so slowly while her gaze flickered between my eyes and lips. Her blue orbs went darker with each second and our faces were just inches apart. If she wasn't in my arms right then, and all ready for me to devour then it might have been easier. Her hand alone was doing magic to me, something I hadn't known before. If only I knew that not having s*x for days would turn out this good. I was about to devour her delicious lips when a voice interrupted me. "GRACEYYY!" A female voice came. I stilled then cursing, turned around. It was Sean's girlfriend. Yeah, I was beginning to call her that. They were acting like a f*****g couple then so be it. "Oh shut it. It's hurting my ears." Said Grace as the girl, whose name I had already forgotten approached her. Soon, I spotted Sean trailing behind, and along with the girls, he seemed a bit drunk too but not as much as compared to the other two. "What's up, man?" He asked stopping in front of me. "Just lost an amazing opportunity," I said sarcastically, and Sean was even considering it. Damn, I had no idea my best bud could get this dumb when drunk. "You know what's amazing? Rowan's here to pick us up!" A squeal came from behind me and I winced. "Remi, I could have dropped you or you could come over," Sean said wrapping a hand around that girl or Remi. I almost felt disgusted, and I threw Sean a look. "Don't give me that look, it's their driver. That Rowan dude." He explained and I furrowed my brow hearing the oddly familiar name. A hand clung to my arm and I turned around to find Grace resting her head there. For the first time, I found a girl innocently beautiful but I shook the thought off. "You smell so good." She whispered then inhaled a deep breath. My lips twitch into the slightest of smiles but- What the f**k am I doing? Going soft for a girl I just met. I admit she is hot and all that is my type but letting girls hold my hand like this is not what I do. Just then, that Remi girl interrupted. "He's here, let's go!" She said then hastily grabbed Grace's hand snatching her away from me. Wait why did I think that? Oh f**k I need to get laid. I followed the girls out, close behind. There was something I doubted, and if it was true... They left the club and a corner ahead stood a familiar car. My eyes narrowed and I observed as they walked to that car and a man got off. No, it can't be. That man seemed oddly familiar, and a moment later my eyes widen as recognition hit me. He was Cupid's driver, the one I had seen that day in the parking lot.
