1:20 p.m.
Lee Henry parked a white van in one of the visitor parking places and walked into the Aligor Pharmaceuticals building. Lee wore hair that was much greyer than his own and a little uncombed. He had a newly placed birthmark on his right cheek and a grey, walrus mustache that made him look a little like John Bolton's blue-collar brother. His overalls displayed an “Emperor Elevators” logo on the breast pocket and Lee completed the outfit with an expression of impatience. Carrying a tool case, he walked over to the security desk and said, “I'm here to conduct the quarterly elevator inspection.”
The young security guard looked puzzled. He examined a document in front of him for a few moments and then said, “I don't see anything about that on the schedule.”
