I felt my nuts shrink when Roland linked that there was a shewolf requesting to speak with me. Then I remembered he knew to get rid of Melissa if she was on the prowl. “Who is it?” I linked back. “Heaven Fuller from Genesis. She said she was Dev’s girlfriend?” He, like me, was a little shocked at the title she had given herself.
It had been more than two years since Dev had a girlfriend. In high school, he had a new one every couple of months. After we graduated, the relationships he had become more casual. Like me, he wanted to make sure there were no misunderstandings when we found our mate. Our parents warned us what could happen if either we or the shewolfs became too attached.
