Beatrice pov I suddenly woke up in a sweat and tried to regulate my breathing as I remembered where I was. It was still dark outside, and my window was slightly open. A cold breeze made the curtains blow about, and then the sound of rain made me get up from the bed and close the window. I felt weird, like my senses were on high alert.
