I sat there, staring at Lila with confusion and fear. "Dark magic?" I repeated, trying to wrap my head around the concept. "What does it mean?" Lila's expression turned serious, and she leaned in closer. "I've studied some of the old lore, Bea. I think I can help you understand what's going on."
