Chapter 3With a grunt of annoyance Shae reacted to a rough shake on his shoulder which forced him to abandon the holographic beach he’d been enjoying. He scowled at the crewman who smirked down at him. “You and your friend need to suit up and get in the life pod. We’re almost there. Once the cargo’s unloaded, we’ll be setting you two down in the complex using a tractor beam.” Grimacing, Shae tapped Bless’s knee. He waited for Bless to remove his goggles. “They’re tractoring us down. We need to get ready and in the pod.” His friend’s face paled and Shae gave his knee a squeeze. “It’ll be fine.
