Chapter 21

"So what's your name?"I asked the guy as he led me outside.

"Enreiqe ."he replied with a smile.

"I'm Rosella."I introduced myself looking around for any sign of John.

"Such a beautiful name."he whispered lifting my hands to his lips.

I was about to pull away my hand when I saw John out of the corner of my eyes and forced a smile on my face.

"Thank you."

Enreiqe continued to hold my hands as he led me near the pool.

"Rosella."I heard John say my name behind us.

I tried not to smile as I turned to look at him.

"Can I have a word with you?"he asked.

"She is kind of busy."Enreiqe said next to me.

John turned to him,narrowing his eyes ."I'm speaking to Rosella not you."he gritted out angrily.

"I'm having a discussion with Enreiqe right now John."I told him flatly.

"We have to talk now."he insisted.

I could tell that his temper was rising but he was the one who started it with Lena.

"Give me a few minutes."I said turning away from him.

"So who is that guy?"Enreiqe asked when John finally left.

I secretly wished John had insisted I go with him one more time,I would of given in by then.

I didn't like spending time with this guy.I hardly knew him,besides John was the only guy I had eyes for,no other guy mattered to me but him.

"He is a good friend of my brother."I lied.

I couldn't tell this guy the truth,I barely knew him.

"Well none of that matters."he said placing his hands around me."All that matters is that you know how beautiful---"

He didn't get to finish as John approached us again.

"Its time to come with me Rosella."He ordered angrily.

"I said give me a few more minutes."

I gasped when I felt John grab my hand and pull me towards him so that my back was pressed up against his chest.

His warm breath tickled my neck as he leaned close to my ear."I said its time to come with me."he whispered dangerously.

Enreiqe stepped forward ."Hey dude you need to give the girl some space."

John grabbed him by his collar."Stay the hell away from her."he warned before throwing him into the pool.

He took my hands in his and stormed back into the house ,he carried me straight back up the stairs and pulled me into my room.

"Why did you do that?"I asked in shock as he slammed the door shut.

"Why don't we start with what the hell are you wearing?"John asked me angrily.

"A bikini."I said in an isn't it obvious tone.

"Why wear one that looks so seductive!"he gritted out.

My eyes widened."What are you talking about.Lena's bikini was showing a lot more skin than mines was."I mumbled in frustration.

John slammed his fist against the wall."This has nothing to do with her.All the guys downstairs were staring at you as if you were some kind of dessert.I wanted to shoot each one of them."

"You didn't seem to notice me however."I pointed out.

John didn't say anything.

Instead he walked closer to me until he had me jammed up against the wall.

He met my gaze."I noticed.Of course I noticed.It's impossible not to."he said quietly.

We were so close that I could feel his breath on my face as he spoke.

"You don't ever show me any attention.Plus you totally ignored me today when you were speaking to Lena."

"I'm forced to ignore you Rosella.I'm not the right guy for you.I will only bring you unhappiness in life.Us having any sort of relationship will be a huge risk."

"Aren't I worth the risk?"I asked softly.

John met my gaze and touched my cheeks lightly."You are worth more than this world in my eyes .That's why I'm keeping my distance,you are too precious for me to put you in harms way."he took a deep breath and stared at me with so much longing that it was hard for me to concentrate on anything else but his eyes on me."But I want you Rosella.No matter what I do there is always you.I just can't get you out of my mind and its killing me."he finally confessed.

I didn't know what to say.I finally got some sort of confession from him and it made me completely speechless.

He took a step back and his eyes roamed my body making me shiver with desire."You look breathtaking.I'm sorry I over reacted today but I don't like other guys seeing you like this."he explained and then took a step closer again so that our faces were inches apart."I want to be the only guy who gets to see you like this Rosella because if any other guy looks at you like that again I swear I'm going to have to kill him."

I gasped at his words.

"I want you too John.So what are we going to do now?"I asked taking a step closer to him.

His gaze travelled up and down my body and his eyes darkened.

"If only you could read my mind you would see exactly what I want to do to you right now."he said placing his hands around my waist.

"Why don't you show me then?"I whispered.

John stared down at me with such intensity that I couldn't help but shiver.

He grabbed my hips and pulled me flat against him before his lips crashed down on mines.This kiss was a lot more intense than all our other kisses.

There was no hesitation in this kiss.His tongue plunged into my mouth and he crushed me to him before picking me up and laying me down on the bed.

It was as if his control had snapped and I loved every bit of it.

His hands ran up my bare legs and I moaned at the feelings it stirred up inside me.

John groaned and jerked away from me ,a wild look in his eyes.

I tried to move closer to him again but he held me at arms length.

He closed his eyes,his breathing harsher than usual.

"I think I got a bit carried away."He finally said opening his eyes.

He touched my cheeks lightly."Rosella please try and understand that I want what's best for you.If I ever leave one day without a good bye,know that I did it for your own good."he looked as if it pained him to say that.

However it hurt me a hundred times more than it did him,I was sure of it.

How could he say that after what we just shared?

"You can't ever leave me."I said,my voice sounding broken to my own ears.

He was about to reply when my room door flew open as both our eyes widened in shock.
