****Meme’s POV**** I sorta woke up as he was lifting me up from the backseat to carry me inside and protested that I weighed too much, “Don’t carry me, I’m too heavy and will hurt your back.”  “Babe, I carried much heavier items on the construction sites I’ve worked on.” he explained.  “Yeah, but you had a forklift then.” I retorted and could hear others chuckling at my comeback, but my eyes were closed as I buried my head against this chest.  “Don’t ever put yourself down again like that, Meme.  You are very special and wonderful inside and out.  I will become upset if I hear you making mean comments about yourself.” he growled in my ear as he walked up the main flight to the bedroom.  Soon, someone had taken my shoes off and I was tucked into the bed with a gentle kiss from Jonathan on my lips before he let the cats loose from their carriers.  He slipped out of the door while they were eating the wet food someone had set out for them.  I must have fell back into a heavy sleep because the next thing I knew the sun was going down and my stomach was growling.  I tried to move but the cats had taken up positions all around me pining me to the bed.  Someone gently knocked on the door and Champ, my youngest, growled low at them.  “Come in.” I said still attempting to move the lazy ones off my legs.  Anna slipped in the room fast so none of my fur babies could escape and immediately pulled out her phone to video the scene in front of her.  The two who had been beside my legs moved a bit as I had struggled to free them and were now laying stretched out over my thighs and calves.  I was well and truly stuck since I couldn’t reach them.  She was laughing so hard as she got it all on video that she was no help to me at all.  Finally, I was able to bend one leg enough to free it from the cat blanket and scooted back off the bed at an angle.  Which is to say, since I wasn’t used to this piece of furniture she caught the images of me falling off the side and landing on my butt in front of her.  The “thud’ I made caused the cats jump up and run for cover, or maybe it was the words that would have made a sailor blush coming from my mouth, either way, now the bed was clear.  I joined her in a fit of laughter after she asked if I was ok.  The door to the room was flung open and Jonathan rushed in to see if I was ok, which meant 2 of my kitties raced out the open doorway before anyone could respond.  “It’s ok, everything downstairs is closed and they can’t get out of the house.” Jonathan assured me as he assisted me into the standing position.  He ran his hands over my entire body before I could stop him to ‘check for injuries’ he claimed, which caused Anna to roll her eyes.  “JD ordered pizza and it just came.  Are you hungry?” he asked before my stomach growled loud enough to answer for me.  “Guess so,” JD joked from the doorway as he had come up to see what was taking so long overhearing our conversation.  We went downstairs and I was introduced to Drew and Linda before we got food in the kitchen.  After dinner, Anna hooked her phone up to the SmartTV in the living room and showed them the footage she shot of me getting (falling) out of bed earlier.  After everyone has their laughs at my expense, I head up to begin unpacking the boxes of clothes and am joined by Anna and Linda. The guys stayed down to unpack my cup collection and get them all setup in the display cases in the main area.  Finally, we all meet in the kitchen and my boxes there are quickly dealt with. By now the sun has set and I just want to get the extra cat litter boxes set out around the area so they don’t mess up the hardwood floors.  They all left soon as I made the guys carry the heavy bags of litter to each room where I will be putting the boxes.  What’s the point of having strong guys around if you aren’t gonna use their muscles?  I firmly believe the “Use it or Lose it” motto in cases like these.  Once I’m finally alone, I change into my swimsuit and do a few laps to wear myself out before bedtime.  The next few days, fall into a consistent pattern.  Wake up, eat, shower, clean, drive Jonathan and Drew to the office, go home, swim, rinse off, eat, pick guys up from work to go home, eat dinner with them, and home to watch TV or read until it’s time to sleep.  Easy Peasy.  They gave me the car to use, which is equipped with cameras in the back so they can talk about their ‘reality’ show as we travel.  They are getting ready for another show down to see which of them is the best and doing a lot of prep before the cameras come to start filming.  So far, in the last 2 weeks, I’ve lost almost 30 lbs. just from cutting out solid food and swimming so much.  Yes, you heard right.  I’ve been doing a liquid diet for 14 days, drinking tons of protein enriched foods like Jello, broths, and shakes.  I stopped drinking soda completely and after dealing with the caffeine migraine that comes with the withdrawal, I feel fine.  The reason I’m doing all this is because once they start filming I won’t be needed for about a month or so, which gives me time to go get Bariatric surgery.  I talked to the Dr. in Vegas the second day I was there and they have me set up to go under the morning the guys start shooting.  Part of the prep is a liquid diet for 2 weeks prior along with cutting out sugar and caffeine, which can hinder the healing process.  Only Anna knows what my plan is since she wouldn’t let up until I told her.  She promised to keep it a secret and is actually going to drive me to the hospital on the morning of my operation.  They say I’ll only be in the hospital for like 2 or 3 days usually.  That’s how long it takes most people to prove they are drinking enough to stay well hydrated, including the protein smoothies I have to have.  The insurance Jonathan got me is covering the entire cost so all I have to buy is the protein products.
