Chapter 19
Getting Ready.
“Ivy come on!”
“I don’t know April. I feel like I should change.” I told her nervously.
I was wearing a dress April had brought with her. It was a gorgeous dress but it felt strange to be wearing it. I had worn similar outfit before but I hadn’t dressed up since my mother’s funeral. It hadn’t felt right to do so. But I also didn’t want to hurt April’s feelings. She had been so good to me this past week.
The dress was a navy mid-thigh length satin dress. It hugged me tightly. The neckline was wide and strappy with the back dropping lower. The dress itself was perfect, my only problem was with it on me.
“You look so hot!” April exclaimed. “It looked perfect on you!”
