Chapter 29 Hurt     I looked at Jayce.   But he refused to look at me, instead was staring at his friends.   I was waiting for a reaction, I wanted him to say something.   Anything.   I thought that today had been one of the best days I’ve had in a long time. The last year had been so painful with my mother getting sick and then my father passing away and then my mother. I had seen some of the most painful moments of my life stretched out in front of me. I had suffered some of the worst and got through it.   Somewhere deep inside I had thought that that was it.   But this whatever it was painful in a different way.   I looked at his friends.   What the hell was going on?   “Come on Jayce, tell us!” Leo said while laughing and smacking his shoulder.   Jayce
