(Jayce’s POV)
Ivy was quiet.
I walked up the stairs of her house and she followed after me.
I turned to look at her, she kept her eyes lowered. I knew having me here in her house was probably not want she wanted, let alone wanting me to stay for lunch. This worked for me though. Every time I tried to talk to her at school she would hid behind April or stay quiet. But now Ivy would have to say something to me, anything at all.
But despite the silence there was something about her.
She was different than everyone else. There was something hidden behind her. Something other than the quietness. There was more to her than just that and I was intrigued.
