Party (Part 4)
“April what happened?” I asked her. “Come sit down”
Jayce brought her over to the couch and she sat down between the two of us.
“I…I…” April couldn’t make out a sentence, she was crying so much.
I looked Jayce. He had this look, like was going to kill someone.
“Jayce” I whispered.
He looked at me but didn’t say anything.
“April, what happened?” Jayce asked in a kind of scary voice.
April looked at him and it was like they were silently communicating. It had me wondering about their relationship again but I stopped myself.
“I…umm saw Jasper. He…told me he doesn’t like me.” April hiccupped trying to explain what was going on.
