Chapter One
Readers, Stop! Only go further once you read this!!!!! You must read A Different Side of Twilight Breaking Dawn before starting this story because you will need clarification and have questions at the beginning. If you choose not to read it, well, good luck. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Renesmee’s P.O.V. It has been four years since the entire vampire and werewolf feud with the Volturi, and I’ve grown. It has been a strange experience for my family since I already looked like a teenager. Walking down the hall, I heard my mom talking to Dad in the kitchen. She said I was growing up too fast and would soon start dating. I walked over to the couch and sank into the plush cushions, feeling its softness against my skin. My mom joined me. She said, “We need to talk.” “What’s up, mom?” I asked, feeling bothered. I’m not into complex talks right now. “We have noticed that you’re getting a lot older now, and we want to put you in school a year before your fifth birthday.” “What? I can’t go to school. Wouldn’t that be strange? Wouldn’t people notice?” “Sweetie, not at all. No one will notice changes as you stop aging in three years.” “Are you sure?” “Yes, I’m sure, sweetie.” “Alright.” “But what concerns us is that you’re at the stage of being a teenager and desire to engage in activities like dating.” “Mom, if you worried about Jacob and me, we’re friends, nothing else.” My dad chimed in while I chatted with my mom. “Do you feel it’s more than friendship, though?” he inquired. “Well... I do like him. I always have, and it’s weird. Sometimes it freaks me out. I have never liked a guy like this. He is everything I have always wanted in a man. He’s sweet, kind, caring, and protective of me, and that is what you want in a relationship,” I said. My mom sighed and said, “That is what I meant. You’re getting too close to Jacob.” I looked down at my hands and observed the chipped nail polish on my fingertips. I can’t help but feel like I’m feeling. It happened. I felt a solid connection with Jacob and wished to be with him. My mother lifted my chin, encouraging me to make eye contact. “Has he discussed the reasons behind your emotions, dear?” she inquired. “No,” I responded. “Well, you’re getting to that age where you need to know, and your bond with Jacob can be a concern. So he needs to tell you.” “Oh, okay.” “Well, how about you run off to your bedroom? Your dad and I need to talk.” “Okay, I’m going to my bedroom to watch T.V. because I have nothing to do.” “Alright, sweetie.” I got off the couch and heard it creak in the muted house. Then I walked to my cozy bedroom down the lit hall. I closed the door as I entered, creating a muffled thud that echoed through the room. I lie down on my pillow after turning on the T.V. After thirty minutes, it turned dark. A banging noise echoed outside my window. My fear arose because no one had ever visited my window at night. When I glanced out the window, I found Jacob there, which surprised me. I went to the window, released the lock, and invited him in. He climbed into the window with a swift motion, his footsteps resonating in the bedroom. Jacob gave me a tight hug, wrapping his arms around me. “Hey, Nessie,” he greeted me. I hugged Jacob and said, “That’s new. I hope my parents don’t mind.” “I expect your mom to hurt me,” We chuckled as I pulled Jacob’s muscular arm and gestured for him to sit on my bed. “So, what brings you here?” I inquired. “I came because we needed to talk,” Jacob responded. I switched off the T.V. and looked at Jacob, asking him. “What about?” “About us,” “What about us?” “We are growing closer, beyond friendship. I know you like me. I see it by how you look at me; we need to stick to being friends.” “Alright...” “Also, I promised your parents when you turn eight, we can grow our relationship.” “Yeah, I’ve heard, but I never pictured us together now. You’re twenty-one, and it’s best until I’m older, anyway.” Jacob’s smile vanished, gazing at his hands. “I wish I could look twenty-one,” he sighed. I realized what I had said and felt remorseful. I realized that Jacob, being a werewolf, couldn’t age. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to upset you. Let’s talk about something else. Why did you come so late? You visit me during the day. Don’t you have a patrol?” I asked. “Yes, but I have shifted it since I am the Alpha. I’m working the night hours to come see you,” Jacob responded. “Oh.” “Anyway, what have you been doing?” “Nothing much, but I talked with my parents about school. They want to put me in high school when I turn five, but I do not want to attend school because I don’t know anyone.” Jacob said nothing, so I knew he was thinking. He then stated his plan to go to school with me. “What, you can’t. You have already finished school,” I said. “No, I’ll come see you. I’ll take you to school, pick you up, and visit you at lunch to make you happy,” Jacob promised. “Jacob, no need to do that.” “Indeed, that’s what friends are for.” I smiled and said, “Alright.” “Anything else they mentioned?” Jacob inquired. “Hum, they asked me about something you haven’t told me about.” “Oh...” Silence filled the air, and Jacob’s worried expression betrayed his nervousness. I held onto Jacob’s hand and looked at him with concern. “What’s the matter?” I inquired. “You can’t handle the truth.” “Jacob, I’m four in human years and look fourteen. I know more than you think.” “Alright, fine, I’ll tell you later. You need to get some sleep.” I raised my eyebrows, hoping Jacob would divulge the information. “Okay,” I responded. I lunged under the covers and felt a shiver of coldness. My bedroom was like fifty degrees. Jacob noticed I was shivering, so he pulled the surrounding covers, creating a cozy cocoon. I snuggled up to him and smiled as I felt the warmth of his body. “Jacob, do you ever get cold?” I asked. “I’m not complaining, but how are you always so warm?” “No, it’s a wolf thing.” I snuggled closer to him, feeling the warmth of his body against mine, and rested my head on his chest. God, I could stay like this forever. “Goodnight, Nessie,” Jacob said. “Goodnight, Jacob,” Five minutes later, we were asleep. Jacob’s P.O.V. Upon waking up, I felt Bella’s hand on my shoulder. I saw her staring at me with curiosity and a hint of anger. “Jacob, can we talk in another room?” she asked. “Sure,” As Bella and I walked alongside, she asked, “What were you doing in her bedroom, especially in her bed at night?” “We did nothing, I swear. Renesmee and I talked, and then I told Renesmee it was time for bed. She was cold, so I got under the covers to keep her warm. We then fell asleep.” I responded. Bella sighed and said, “I remember you doing that with me. I understand why she wanted you in her bed.” Bella then walked over to the plush couch and settled beside Edward. She wasn’t mad. “Well, I better go,” I said. “Before you go, I need to tell you something,” Bella mentioned. “What is it you need to discuss with me?” “Have you told her yet?” I knew what Bella was talking about. “No,” I said. “When will you tell her the secret?” Bella asked. “I don’t know yet. I guess tomorrow.” “Okay, also, are you taking it slow with her? Remember that promise you made to us?” “Yeah, I remember and have already talked to her about it. If she wants, we will wait until she is eight to start a relationship, and she agrees with me.” “Okay, good.” “Yes, I’m glad to hear that. You may go now.” I nodded in agreement, then exited the door, ensuring to close it behind me.
