I tried not to think about Leon in the same room as my Dad. I was sure Dad wouldn't do anything crazy if Mom explicitly told him to behave himself. And, whether he liked him or not, Leon was a guest and Mom, whether she liked him or not, would make sure he would be treated like any other guest in our house would be. I poured dressing over the salad and tossed it, trying to think happy thoughts enough to conjure a patronus. But thinking about patronuses made me think of Leon. Falling in love could also affect the form of a patronus so mine would probably be a wolf. Or a lion since Leon was Spanish for lion. I bit my lip to stop from smiling.
