My mouth dropped open as I stared at the vision in front of me, hoping to the heavens that it was just that, a vision. "Morning, Sophia!" I shut my eyes tight, then opened them again. Hannah was still standing in front of me, smiling brightly it almost hurt my eyes, as if she didn't just appear on my doorsteps early on a Saturday morning. Good God, she wasn't a vision. I lost my sleepiness immediately as my eyes raked over her, taking in every detail of her appearance, from the eyeglasses perched on her nose to her sneaker-clad feet. Her hair was pulled back in a tight ponytail and she was wearing a button down shirt and black pants. She was also holding a stack of books on her arms. And was Hannah, who never went out without even a lick of make-up on her face, not wearing any today?
