The Moon Goddess lounged on a pile of pillows eating fruit from a nearby tray. Her mother Theia lounged next to her. “I’m so glad you came. It does get quite boring here at times.” Theia sipped from her golden goblet of wine. “Mmm. Yes, it has been a nice little get away. Unfortunately we are due to meet with the family tomorrow. I expect we will be there for quite a while. Your father loves to put on a big show of things.” Theia rolled her eyes at the thought of it. Mene laughed at her mother’s theatrics. “Oh really mother!
