VALERIE’S POV
I thought we wouldn’t have to do much work since this villa has been vacant for so long. When did a new owner suddenly move in? I don’t think Cleo ever sold the estate. If she did, my sister would have told me. Luckily the waitress told us what happened.
“What did the lawyer say?” I asked Raven who was driving.
“He is on his way. Even the lawyer was shocked when I explained to him what was happening. He has no idea that the villa was sold. Even if Cleo tried to sell it, she would have to contact the lawyer beforehand. I doubt Cleo would do such things.” Raven is wise as always.
When we arrived at the front gate, the security guard was shocked to see us as I opened the window.
“Open the damn gate.” The security scurries over and opens the gate for us.
