The next day, while Hamilton thought about what he had discussed with Elsie, he decided to go to the house of Edythe again. This time he did not go there as if he came to see someone else, he waited until it was evening when Edythe would be returning from work before going.
He had arrived some minutes before she came back but he did not make his presence known to Rica so that she would not invite him into the house for that would be against the will of her mother. He stayed in his car parked a few meters away from the house, and there he sat, looking out to see Edythe returned.
When Edythe came back and stepped out of the cab that had brought her home, he quickly rushed out of the car and called for her attention.
