After discussing with John that morning, Mason could not remove his mind from the things that John told him. For some reasons, John was right. Hamilton might agree to bring the CIA agent into this matter so that he could help him. But on the contrary, the agent in question might not concur with their request and maybe he might even report them to his superiors.
This thought could not get off the head of Mason no matter how much he tried to fight it out. It was impossible. What John had told him was something he should never have heard without acting by it. Throughout that day in the office, Mason was pondering over that thought till he got home.
On the other hand, John did not know what to do after leaving the office of Mason. He could not believe that Mason actually disagreed with that
