Lucy pov
After finishing up, I walk into the living room and see James with this weird smile on.
"What's so funny?" I ask, stilling making my way towards him.
He turns his head and his eyes widen.
He quickly gets up and meets me before I can reach him.
"Damn, Lucy...you look great."
I blush and look down at my yellow sundress.
It hugs my chest, making it look a lot bigger than it actually is, and is fitted, to my shape making my waist look small, and then it flows freely on my hip area, making those look wide.
"I might have to take you back to bed." He smirks as he sees my face heat up even more.
I hate this dumb blushing condition.
"Let's just go..." I mutter as I go around him, heading to the exit, my front door.
He laughs at my pain and slowly follows me outside.
"Hurry up, James," I say, not bothering to turn around, as I cross the street to where he parked his car.
"Why hurry when I'm trying to enjoy the view?" He says in a husky voice.
Hmm?
I stop on the other side of the road and turn to see James's eyes had been glued to my butt and hips.
My face kinda heats up. What the hell is wrong with my man?
"Why'd you stop, Lucy?" He says with a groan.
"Why are staring so damn hard?"
"I can't stare at my girlfriend?" He smirks.
I start to reply but he rushes across the street and pulls me to him.
"You're right, I don't have to stare when you're all mine." He pulls me closer, and I remind myself to get used to this and hug him back.
But it's not like I don't enjoy some skinship with him.
"Ok big boy, get in the car, I wanna see where you're taking me."
"That's why you're rushing me?" He narrows his eyes at me, with amusement dancing in them.
"Yup so let's go." I let go of him and try to push away once, he doesn't budge. I look up at him and glare, as he pouts. I try again, and this time he lets go.
"You're such a baby." I say getting on after he unlocks the door.
"But I'm your baby." He says closing his door.
"Oh shut up."
He laughs and starts the car.
Finally, we leave for our date.
~•~
Forever after we leave, we're still on the road, going somewhere.
The radio plays as we sit in a comfy silence, with like 5 cars behind us, following every turn we make.
At first, I was alarmed, thinking Bryan had got his friends or something to follow me while he was recovering.
But James explained that it was the security team he had been talking about.
Ever since then, we joked around a little, sang along to some of the radio songs, and now we're just relaxing.
That's how long this ride has been.
But hey, who knew my James loved one direction?
I laugh at the thought.
"What's so funny?"
"Nothing." I say with a pleasant smile on.
"Ok, well we're here." He pulls up at this huge amusement park.
"Oh, my lorsh." As a child, I didn't really get to go to places like these because my parents never had the money.
I turn with a huge smile on my face and unbuckle my seat belt, then lunge across the control panel and cup holders, to hug him.
"Thank you so much." I hug his face to my shoulder and he slowly raises his hands to hug me back.
"Nothing less for my angel."
I pull back and look at him.
More specifically, his lips.
Slowly leaning down, I press my lips to his and he responds trying to put his tongue in my mouth.
Usually, I would but today...
I quickly push back against his chest and exit the car.
He sits there, stunned.
"Let's go, already!" I say, leaning in the open door, my excitement probably at the level of a child's.
He gets out the car with a scowl on his face.
What a baby.
I chuckle and grab his hands, joggingunning to the main entrance.
Like a child but I don't even care anymore.
I just can't wait.
Bryan pov
As she leaves the car, with a huge smile on her face, my heart stings.
I should be the only one able to make her happy.
She's mine.
We were so in love, and we still are, I just have to make her realize it.
And that damn man needs to go.
He's confusing her, with his lies.
But after today, she'll be back where she belongs.
With me.
