CHAPTER 10Karla quite enjoyed the monthly Board of Trustees meetings at Joseph Ward Junior High. The members were mainly professional people and didn't worry about trivial items that they either left for her to solve or, for building and grounds maintenance there was a list of firms that they worked with. If emergency repairs were necessary Karla could simply phone the firm to give a quote. The firms concerned were also reliable for they knew that if they provided a high quality service they would be used again.
