I stormed out of his office with such fury that I didn’t even look at Marcus. I mean, I couldn’t very well hang around and pretend as if everything was okay, could I? Caspian had kissed me twice! What the hell was he trying to do? What the hell was wrong with him?! Shifting was easier than I thought and I didn’t care that my clothes were ripped to shreds as I sprinted and made for the forest. Life on the run sounded so much more appealing right now that I felt as if I could run and not turn back.
