I felt as if I was having an out-of-body experience. As if this wasn’t my life. I was standing outside of my body watching all of this happen and it couldn’t have been my life. I caught Caspian looking happy not just once but a couple of times and it was very strange to see him like that. I caught myself feeling happy that he brought me back. Was this the moon goddess’s way to make sure I found my happy ever after? I knew now that there was no way I would be able to leave. Even though Caspian never realized I was his mate. I would always love him. I wanted our son to know his father. I wanted him to be able to claim his heritage. I was fooling myself before when I thought I could run and do this on my own.
