It seemed as though my heat wasn’t coming back any time soon when I spent a further two days in my room and nothing happened. Luna Alicia invited me to join her in her office and she showed me how our online newspaper worked, but I saw the sadness in her eyes when she confessed that she would have to look for someone to take over when she retired. I couldn’t believe that she would want to retire so soon. She and the Alpha were still young and, in my opinion, I saw absolutely no need for her to give up the paper just yet.
