I was still trying to get comfortable in my new-found light when I heard my brother's voice.
'' Cat, are you okay? Have you gotten your wolf?'' He asked but I couldn't answer him because I was still trying so hard to get myself after the experience I just had.
'' Get away from her, the ritual is not yet complete,'' I heard the priestess say.
'' What do you mean, she is awake, isn't she,'' I heard Edon protest.
'' She is awake, but the ritual is not yet done,'' I heard the priestess emphasise again.
I wanted to say something, but I couldn't because it felt like I had this heaviness in my chest that I couldn't quite shake off.
