Chapter SevenShortly after Liam leaves, I’m getting checked out by a paramedic. Apparently I’m all good, no sign of injuries other than the obvious bump on my forehead and sore bottom lip. Not even a concussion. They decide I don’t need to be taken to the hospital, and I’m grateful for their assessment. Even if I’d been in a critical condition, they couldn’t have dragged me away from what might as well be the last time I get to see Liam. Only, he hasn’t returned yet.
