While Valerie and I waited for our prospective clients to arrive for the meeting, I fought back the smirk that threatened to form. Dean wouldn't stop thinking about Valerie. He was so excited about meeting her, though we were both a bit upset it was because a mountain lion was about to pounce on her and not because she knew about our kind and wanted to meet Dean. Nevertheless, Valerie was oddly accepting of my wolf. She loved him actually. Which sent Dean blissfully skyrocketing to the moon.
