"Are you ever going to tell me where we are going?" I laughed as we continued down the snow-covered path. Our feet crunched with each step on the quiet mountainside.
"Yeah, when we get there," Derek smirked.
"Are you sure it's safe here? I mean I literally ran into a mountain lion and a wolf last time I was out here." I nervously laughed. I could see my breath, it was so cold out.
"I promise you, nothing will hurt you as long as you are with me. Plus, I have my pocket knife you gave me." He said happily.
