"I... didn't know you had brothers." Aria says, just so she could come up with a conversation as they had stopped in front of a red light that doesn't want to turn green. After leaving the mansion, Dean didn't seem to be in the mood of talking to her which made her feel she was responsible for something she didn't know. Maybe he's mad I ate his breakfast... Aria sighs as she clenches her skirt and presses her lips together while looking out of the window. I'd have to buy him some lunch... "Don't associate with them." He says, his voice giving the authority it always gives, making the goosebumps on her skin to shoot out as she stares at his side profile. know your place, is what he means. Aria frowns slightly as she thinks to herself, gazing down at her laps before finally noticing the odd shade of her breasts underneath the T-shirt. where is... "uh... just out of curiosity... were you the only one who took care of me?" Aria asks as her cheeks become warm from the thought of the boss.... seeing more than he should. "There was a doctor." he sighs shakily, while keeping his gaze out of the window as he finds it much easier to avoid eye contact with her. "Oh... she must have changed my shirt. I was wondering where... my other belongings are..." she clears her throat and glances towards him, noticing his slightly wide eyes as he still refuses to meet her gaze. "Ok." he simply says when he's well aware it was him who undressed her. he saw more of her than he's seen on any woman. without warning, his face begins to feel warmer than it usually does, turning it a bit pink as he places his elbow on the window as he opens it, letting in some fresh air. "I-If you happen to see... uh if the maids happen to find... something that a man wouldn't wear... c-could you r-return it?" she asks as she watches him close his eyes when he knows too well what she's talking about. Damn it... where did I leave that bra... "Of course." he clears his throat and peels his gaze from the window and glances towards her, anxious to see if she's as nervous as he is when he freezes the moment their eyes meet. large clear nutty brown eyes gaze back at him, surrounded by long think and black lashes that bring out the color and life out of them. it's the first time he's been this close and looked into a woman's eyes before. he's always hated eye contact with women... ever since that time. Has a woman's eyes ever... been this clear? Aria, feeling uncomfortable under his sudden pause looks away, breaks the awkward eye-staring contest and gazes out of the window as he does the same. Embarrassed he looked for far too long, even if it was only for some seconds. "By the way, I... uh... haven't showered." Aria points out as she reaches up to the collar of the shirt she is wearing and presses her lips together. "I can't go to work in these clothes either." "I'm well aware." He nods his head as Aria glances towards him, meeting his gaze again. "The office building is equiped with a shower unit on all floors. I had the staff prepare office clothing for you as well." "Oh... okay. but you really didn't have to, I would have just taken a shower at home." She furrows her brows as she glances down at her laps. "But... thank you, in advance." "You also have to leave before lunch time to recover from your fever." He points out as he brings out a phone and begins to scroll through it, reading through the endless tasks he has to go through for today. "Don't worry about the pay cut since I'm the one insisting you do." "I'm really fine though." She glances back at him but doesn't catch his gaze when his eyes are fully glued on the phone. "But thank you, for taking care of me, even if you didn't have to. I'll... repay you somehow." "You don't need to." He shrugs his shoulders as he shoves his phone into his pocket and crosses his arms on his chest. "H-How about dinner?" she asks, still insisting on it as she grips onto the cushions of the car seat. Dinner? He thinks to himself and glances towards her, noticing how determined her eyes have become now that she wants to repay him. "No need." He sighs as he shifts his gaze to the window. "Your work should repay me enough. Besides, your position wouldn't afford a dinner suiting my tastes." right, Aria... know your place. just because he helped you out today doesn't make him your friend. Aria frowns as she thinks to herself and looks to the side. Why would he make time for you? Dinner, really? sounded like you were trying to ask him out. Even though it feels like a century has gone by, they finally get to the office building, driving in loud silence as the only confidence she had left leave her body entirely. Slowly bringing the car into the parking lot underground, Dean glances towards her through the corner of his eye when she quietly takes off her seatbelt and reach for the door handle, hardly saying a word. pressing his lips tightly, he hears her door click open. "Dinner is fine. I guess." Dean looks out of his window before she could catch his gaze. "If you deeply insist, I'll pay." "The whole point is to repay you." she chuckles slightly and frowns when she realizes she's putting herself in a chokehold. Her wallet simply won't allow it. "I... I obviously won't be able to afford a fancy restaurant... so... I can buy a... no wait." she clenches her jaw in frustration and looks out of the car, gripping the door handle tightly. "Anywhere is fine." he closes his eyes and opens his door. "whatever your pockets can afford." he steps out and she frowns even more when she feels he's only belittling her for her low cut salary. she steps out as well and closes the door as she tries to come up with something, do he could be willing to come and not feel forced. he'll just end up thinking I can't handle anything... she bites her lower lip and crosses her arms to her chest as she follows him towards the elevator. what food does he like anyway? the breakfast was a little too fancy... "aren't you hungry?" she asks as she steps into the elevator right after he does. "you didn't have breakfast." "I'm fine." he taps against the number to his floor and steps back, glancing towards her. "I rarely have breakfast." "But if you were taking care of me, you didn't have a proper dinner... it was so late last night." she frowns up at him and he looks away while shoving his hands into his pockets. "you look a bit feverish too." she instinctively reaches her hand up to his forehead and he widens his eyes and glances down at her. "I hope you didn't catch mine-." she pauses mid sentence as she finally catches on to her awkward action. before she could even apologize, the door of the elevator that had stopped without warning them opens, revealing a small crowd of fellow colleagues, some of which she knows. Aria gasps and jumps away from Dean, nearly falling back as she scatters to the opposite side of the elevator.
