The two playboys

1207 Words
Meanwhile, in the Devon Mansion, Dominic steps out of his car and sighs for the hundredth time this morning. He's just done with work and it's barely lunch yet. Running his hand through his hair, he makes his way up the flight of stairs and tags onto his necktie, loosening it up a bit as the doorman opens the door once he's close enough. "Anyone home?" He asks the doorman who nods and glances to the stairway leading up to the second floor. "Mr. Cameron and Caspian are present." "... Okay." Dominic sighs as he slithers his way up tba stairs as quietly as he can, unwilling to alarm his brothers who are more used to seeing him out of the house than in when it's time to work. He's just not in the mood to be pestered by them and work isn't giving him a break either. Reaching for his bedroom door, he pulls out his keys and unlocks it, only to notice it's already unlocked. Furrowing his brows, he opens the rest of the door and peeks inside, spotting his two brothers giggling amongst themselves as they show each other photos. "This is the last time I'm saying this!" Dominic hisses as he swings the door forcefully to startle them. Even though they aren't fazed. "Get out of my room! We agreed you'd both stick to your respective rooms." He marches to the two who don't try to run away. "Our rooms are being deep cleaned, relax." Cameron sighs as he waves his hand and places his phone to the bed. "We won't mess this place up." "I don't care, there are countless rooms you can camp in." Dominic sighs as he looks down to Caspian who only smirks at him. "What is it?" "When were you going to tell me Dean has a girlfriend?" He asks as he gets up from the bed and stretches over his head. "Is she the loyal type or really good at manipulating him?" "They aren't seeing each other." Dominic rolls his eyes. "He's just her boss, she fell sick and he just took care of her." "Do you honestly believe Dean 'just' took care of her?" Cameron smirks at Dominic and shakes his head. "Dean can't touch women that casually, he probably likes the woman." "Wouldn't you be concerned if your employee fell ill as well?" Dominic asks with a raised brow. "He's just-." "- You're defending him a lot today." Caspian places his hands on his hips as he walks to Dominic. "Is she pretty?" "What?" "Ah, she is." Caspian clicks his tongue as he grins even wider and glances to Cameron. "She is, isn't she?" "Like milk coffee." Cameron nods slightly. "Has this really curly hair, puffy and so soft. Her body is a little on the scale side but she's hard to miss." "Oh, so that makes sense." Caspian turns his attention back to Dominic who frowns at him "You like her too." "I just met her, I don't." Dominic grits his teeth as Caspian pats his shoulder and leans into his ear. "It only takes a second to tell if you like a woman's looks or not. You may not know her personally but her appeal is your cup of tea. or cup of hot chocolate in this case." Caspian chuckles and leans back from his brother who only glares at him. "Whatever the case, I know you're getting curious just because it's Dean who brought her in. It's nothing, so don't go snooping around." Dominic says as he takes his tie off. "We all agreed not to mess with each other's employees. It only brings bad reputation and you wouldn't want the eldest to find out." "That old fart? You think I'm scared of him?" Caspian rolls his eyes and smirks slightly. "Of course I won't butt in if Dean won't be interested. You know how that man is, afraid of a woman at his age." "He's not afraid, just nervous." Dominic sighs and Caspian shrugs his shoulders and walks to the door as Cameron simply stares from where he's seated. "Aren't you leaving as well?" "Not really, I have a question for you." Cameron smiles as Caspian closes the door behind him, leaving the two alone. "Not a question as such, but I'm like confessing?" "What do you want, Cameron? Spit it out and get out." Dominic sighs and walks to his closet, taking off his jacket. "That woman, that Dean brought home-." Cameron says and watches his older brother tense at this, getting him to smirk. "I might have interest in her." "Infatuation, you'll get over it." "Yeah, of course I don't like her that much, I'm just interested." Cameron gets up from the bed and sighs slightly. "When I talked to her this morning, I could tell she's as innocent as Dean. Zero experience and just babies in the making. But her innocence is kind of... how can I put this... Alluring?" "Stay out of it, Cameron. Everytime you say something like this, a woman comes beating up the guards at the gate that you keep using them." Dominic glares at his younger brother who only shrugs. "Dean won't like you experimenting on his employees. We all agreed to have you and Caspian stay away from anyone that works for us." "I know, I know." Cameron raises his hand, as though in surrender. "I won't tamper with this one. Unless Dean is really interested in her, then I can't resist." "Get out of my room, Cameron." Dominic frowns at him. "I'm tired of listening to both you and Caspian." "Anyway, on the side note, why aren't you at work?" Cameron crosses his arms to his chest. "First time seeing you here at this time." "I'm just tired, had a long day yesterday." He shrugs. "Aren't you going to visit your workplace soon? The maids keeps saying you never leave the house compared to Caspian." "I hired someone to that job for me and she's pretty good." Cameron smirks. "A she?" "No need to stick your nose into my business, it's a business negotiation between her and me." Cameron shrugs and walks out of the room before Dominic could start to point fingers. Out of all five of his brothers, Dominic doesn't like the two he'd just met and they know it too well. They crawl under his skin more often than not an are so childish that it makes him want to kill them. Their untamable behavior of trying their hardest to crawl into any skirt they find often leaves trying to gain control of the chaos they cause with the women they 'experiment' on. Now it's just common knowledge that those two are the playboys of the family, and what makes this worse is how the rest of the brothers are also considered unfaithful because of them. None of the remaining four are even dating anyone, and it's only because work keeps them busy. But it's not like Dominic has the time to try to clear his name up by dating someone and proving it. He's just never got the chance to be with a woman personally and get to know her without her faking her personality for money.
