Waking up

*Blades POV*

As I storm out of the room the only person that I can think about is Rebecca. I walk into her room and pick her small precious body up out of her crib and set in the chair and rock her until my nerves settle. I feel the sudden need to go and check on mom and the girl so I wrap Rebecca up and take her with me. As I walk in the room mom had finished cleaning her wounds and wrapping her wrists and ankles and was setting next to her observing her. She saw me walk in and quickly comes over as excited as she could be to hold her granddaughter. 

“Give me that beautiful baby” Sophia says looking at her son. 

“how is she mom?” Blade asks concerned about the young women laying on his bed. 

“She is fine but Blade you need to explain this to me now” she states as she looks at him with anger in his eyes. 

He explains the situation to her as she walks around to soothe Rebecca back to sleep. 

“So you are telling me that this young lady just ran here and ran into you and you brought her in?” 

“Yes mom, I did. The poor women was running from some one or something and I wasn’t going to leave her out there to suffer any more” 

“Oh my son, you may pretend to be hard and cold but I see the sweetness in you” 

*Rains POV*

I hear a man and women speaking. I believe they are talking about me. But I also hear a baby cry. I am so confused as to where I am. I slowly start to open my eyes hoping that they don’t notice me so that I am able to plan me escape because I refuse to be trapped again. I look around and I’m in a bedroom. There is a slightly older women walking around with a baby and then I take a look at him. He was y’all with dark hair and the most piercing blue eyes that I have ever seen. He was the sexiest and handsome man I have ever seen in my entire life. But I won’t let his good looks fool me. I set up quickly and hope I have a chance to make it to the closed door but they both look at me. 

“Hello honey, how are you feeling?” Sophia passed the baby back to Blade as she walks over to the edge of the bed. 

“I want to leave” I spit out sounding as terrified as I feel. 

“You are safe here sweetheart, you will be ok” 

“”I don’t know any of you and I want to leave right now. You can’t keep me here” 

“Mom, take Rebecca and go to the nursery and let me speak with her” 

Sophia grabs the baby and heads out of the room shutting the door behind her. 

Blade starts walking toward Rain as she tenses up and backs up as far as she could. 

“Stay away from me, do not touch me” she says with fear in her eyes. 

“ I won’t I’m just coming closer” he said as he stops and sets in the chair at the foot of the bed. 

“You can’t keep me here. I have to leave, I have to get away from here.” 

“I’m not forcing you to stay here. I am just trying to speak with you about why you were running and ran straight into me” he said aggravated 

Rain could tell she had aggravated him which made her even more scared as she looked around and tried to find any way to escape that she could. 

“I have to go. I have to get away. I have to run” Sophia said as she stood up and started walking towards the door. 

“You are not going anywhere until you tell me exactly what you are running from” Blade said as he slammed his fist down on the table and got up and stood next to her.
