The Master stayed put in his place lost in his thoughts. He was thrilled to see her. His baby girl; the one he sired walked hastily glowing like a comment. Her power subside his anger while she was still unaware. He was caught in a trance with the same doe-like brown eyes and brown hair.
She was so much like her childhood that he felt his dead heart beating. With extraordinary sweetness and cuteness; she was already ruling my heart bringing calmness over my whole body.
He wanted to rush to her and embrace her but it was far more interesting to watch her little activities. She was clinging to Edward calling him dad and crying. A rush of anger brewed in him realizing that it was Edward who wanted to keep him away from her childhood. He knew things were different back then and only god knows his helplessness.
Under any other circumstances, he could have given everything and anything just to see her grow and live with her entire life but he couldn’t because of her safety and others but right now; he had no issues yet he was pushed away from none other than Edward.
As he thought of ways to torment him; his heart clenched the way she was being inconsolable. Desperately hanging on him and calling him dad jigged Vincent’s mind. It should be him and not Edward.
He saw how he recovered at unbelievable speed and picked her up, caressing her hair and peppering her with kisses. She on the other hand was beaming with pure joy watching her ‘dad’ awake and Vincent felt a pang of jealousy in his chest.
Regardless of how he wants to put things; one thing was sure—Edward truly loved her and he did it for his own reason. Maybe protecting her because there was no way he would have fought Vincent. Nor that he actually fought but he was ready to. Vincent can only just wait until he could catch some glimpse of his thoughts.
He wanted to re-live her childhood moments. Watching her reborn, taking her first step, babbling, speaking her first word and what not. He had missed onto so much, again.
He stood there solemnly wondering if she really has forgotten about him. Their relation wasn’t weak and he knows she wasn’t ordinary than why wasn’t she recognizing him.
Do you really don’t remember me baby girl?
He observed as she beamed at Gerald and was glad to see her accepting him already. He only hopes she can accept him as well.
Her eyes glanced over Gerald’s shoulder and frowned; watching Vincent. He stood still and stoic. After what seemed like a lifetime, she smiled as her eyes turned black. Her face contorted and realization crossed her features.
She knows me!
Vincent was nervously eager to wait her say something-anything. A part of him hoped the best while the other one was still doubtful. Her smile was genuine and sultry. Even with the cold and icy stare she appeared to be beautiful. Something switched and her dull face became lively, the smile was more realistic and cheerful. Her eyes twinkled as she walked straight past Gerald. His head turned while his eyes followed her track. She jogged upto Vincent and gave him a toothy grin with her neck craned. Vincent’s smile broadened watching her. Tugging his pants, she urged him to lower down. He was stunned with her strength as he stumbled but quickly composed.
Squatting down in front of her, he was anticipated staring her. She astonished him by hugging him tightly. The same charged electrons ignited through his skin as it gave him goosebumps followed by a shudder.
He groaned in pleasure and pulled her into him. How much he missed these sensations! He had no idea until now. Being close to her and sniffing her hair, he relaxed feeling in paradise as his heart screamed that now he was finally home.
Yes! She was her home and not the Salvos. Salvos was his responsibility he had from the past centuries but she was her everything. He missed her so much!
When he thought this was all he could ask, things escalated to another level making his chest swell. He feared that it might explode or he’ll be declared mad when she pulled apart calling him- daddy.
He heard someone cough and from the thoughts heard them gasps. He was sure everyone heard her making him over joyous.
Yes! She is mine! My daughter and childe.
She grinned innocently and abruptly turned around. She tilted her head to her right and slowly to her left. Vincent’s eyes followed her direction and found Damien with hopeful eyes. He looked exhausted but his eyes gleamed and this made Vincent’s jaw tighten. He knew his baby girl wouldn’t have forgotten him; the man he hated the most.
His girl might be blind to try to recognize him but he wasn’t. His hopes shattered when she ran to him and lunged herself. Vincent’s and Edward’s heart skipped their beat in fear but sighed in relief when Damien caught her. He swirled her around in the air before pressing his lips on her forehead.
Vincent averted his gaze and balled his feasts hearing his thoughts. Damien wanted to claim her lips and r****h them. He scoffed glaring at Damien.
He is very well aware that Damien calls him p*****t but he was no less. He was a damned pedophile for thinking something like that. She was just 5 for god’s sake.
Damien on the other hand could bet that he never hoped that she would even glance in his direction after watching the spectacular bonding between her and Edward. Right now, his happiness knew no bounds as he squeezed her in his arms.
This is all he wanted! This is what lacked in his life and he was a f*****g bastard to let her go.
The fear of living again in her abstinence scared him. No! This time he will fix everything.
She lowered her eyes and a blush stained her chubby cheeks popping his eyes out of socket. There was nothing cute than this!
He tickled her sides curbing his desires while she laughed and he stiffened.
He knew this was his favorite music from now on—her laughter. The way her eyes went shut and she made adorable faces while she laughed; this moment was imprinted on his heart forever!
Tasha locked her eyes with him and leaned into his chest feeling a very familiar safety and warmth in them. She clinged to his neck while nuzzling into him before she heard his heartbeat. A déjà vu flashed her mind as she let herself drown to sleep in those wild heart beats.
“It’s my favorite, Damien…” She mumbled in her sleep as a wide grin spread across his face.
“She knows… She knows everything!” He repeated like a madman and passed a bright victorious smile to everyone.
His smile faltered watching their frown and disgust. He gulped before settling to ignore them. He watched Edward marching in his direction looking furious. His hands tightened around Tasha who had fallen asleep in his arms.
Her one little palm rested above his heart while the other was on his nape. Edward glanced between them and hatred evident in his eyes. He bent down and struggled to free her from Damien’s death grip. Damien was not going to back down that easy; not without putting up a fight.
This only agitated Edward more. Even without any superpowers, he can read Damien easily. His thoughts weren’t impressive and there was no way he was going to let his daughter be around such a man.
Wait! Did I say daughter?
Edward stupefied realizing what just happened! His jaw dropped and felt everything disappear.
