Chapter 7

Sirius’ pov

I have been excited about this coronation. Any chance to see and spend a bit of time with Rayne is always good in my books. I mean, I am a little sour that I couldn’t convince her to become my mate, but well, you can’t always win, and at least it was her true mate I lost out to.

Blaze has been riding my a.ss hard since we met that little green eyed temptress of a mate. He was pi.ssed off at me that I walked away from her. I am sorry if I want a strong mate with some morals, someone more like Rayne, and let’s face it as soon as I sunk my co.ck into Sienna it was easy to tell she was no virgin.

She took me too easily, and there was not a drip of blood spilt. Yeah, it was the best s*x of my life. The mate bond makes everything much more intense, but I will never be bound to that type of woman who gives herself away so freely.

I wish I had rejected her now. I was too busy thinking about escaping at the time. Now Blaze won’t even let me get it up, and my s*x life has turned non existent. All he wants is the green eyed temptress, and he is driving me nuts thinking about her.

I wonder if she will be at the coronation, I saw her speaking to Rayne plenty at the last one, and she is definitely of Alpha blood, so there is a good chance she will be there. If she is, I can reject her and hope my second chance is better than my first.

If not, I wonder if Crimson would consider an arranged mating. My beta Chris may kill me for suggesting it to his little sister, but she is a good girl, very attractive and powerful. We have been told she is going to have a lot of power, ok yeah we also got told her place isn’t in my kingdom but I could always change that part of her destiny.

Surely her and her family would want to stay close to each other, and what better position could she have other than as my Queen. I could easily start to see her as more than my best friends little sister, especially once we mark each other and the bond sets in. She would also feel the pull then.

It is definitely something to consider. We will have to see what the goddess offers me next first, and then I will look at all of my options. For now, we travel to the South Lycan Kingdom, just Chris and I, our parents are sitting this one out.

Chris still doesn’t know that I met my mate. He thinks she was just another random that I picked up for the night. He really wants his mate, so I know he will be pi.ssed at me if he found out I walked out on her and was thinking about rejecting her no matter what the reasons. I just hope I can keep it on the down low and find a private place to get it over and done with.

I am quite excited as we pull up to the castle, I get to see Rayne, wind up Callum when I flirt with Vlad, and I might be able to find my second chance if I can deal with my first quickly enough. Things are definitely looking good at the moment.

As I go down the line greeting everyone, I feel intense pain in my privates, then my nose as I land on my a.ss. I look around, wondering what the hell happened, and I see Rayne standing over me with a pi.ssed off look and I realise she is the one responsible for my painful nuts and face. What the hell, Rayne and I have always been fine.

“What the hell Rayne” I say confused putting my broken nose back into place as she gave me an evil, satisfied smile.

“Does the name Sienna mean anything to you Sirius you hypocritical a.sshole. Tell me, do you even know anything about her, you should, all the leaders should” she says angrily, glaring down at me as Chris helps me up.

“What has she told you? She is not as innocent as she makes out” I argue back, ok yeah may sound a bit childish right now, but I don’t give a fu.ck.

“My good friend, your mate, told me exactly what you said and did to her, and I am disgusted with you. You know fu.ck all about Sienna because obviously, if it is not to do with dragons, you don’t care to pay attention. I wonder what daddy would think I hear he is a big fan of hers, I am sure he will be even more disappointed in you than I am” she says angrily. Right now, I am definitely confused. Why the hell would I know something about some random shewolf.

“Wait a minute, you found your mate Sirius. What the hell did you do to her to get Rayne this angry. By any chance, are you talking about Sienna Kingston” Chris says, sh.it even he knows who she is, how in the hell am I the only one that doesn’t.

“The one and the same, and your Alpha slept with her then walked out on her after basically calling her a wh.ore for not waiting on him, because he is obviously so fu.cking virginal” she spits out.

“You fu.cking i***t, you have no fu.cking idea what you have done. I am surprised Rayne has let you away so lightly. You will deserve it if Sienna rejects you, and the least you can do is accept. Please excuse me. I need to be away from him right now” Chris says, walking off.

“Who the hell is this Sienna” I say, frustrated.

“Someone you definitely don’t deserve, and I thought I scr.ewed up. I suggest you go hide in your room for a bit before Rayne gets more pi.ssed off at you, maybe after some thinking you might remember hearing the name. From say a year and a half ago” Killian says.

I walk off confused and frustrated when I get into my room, my brain starts to kick in. Sh.it wasn’t it around that time when the second woman joined the elite squad and the whole trafficking ring thing hit. For the life of me, I can not remember her name. It can’t be her, though. I am sure that woman was one of the first victims she wouldn’t have slept with me if it was.

“She would have if you were her mate, she would have trusted you, you bas.tard” Blaze growls at me, sh.it he is right. I need to call dad and ask him about her. There is no way Chris is going to talk to me right now, I ring dad straight away.

“Hey son, have you arrived” he asks cheerily.

“Yeah I am here. Can I ask you about Sienna Kingston” I say nervously.

“of course, I am not sure what the sudden interest is, and you should already know, I have spoken about her several times. Sienna is the young lady who joined the elite squad after escaping the trafficking ring. Rayne trained her personally. She became the 3rd strongest warrior in the unit. The poor girl wasn’t even 18 when she was rescued, and she helped take them down even after she helped to uncover that her father was one of the Alpha’s in charge and had sold her off. She is a remarkably strong young woman” dad tells me.

“Fu.ck Fu.ck Fu.ck” I say in frustration, I have really scr.ewed up this time. Why did I have to be so fu.cking judgmental? This girl is amazing, and I just became another person to use and abuse her in her life. How the hell will I make this right.

“What’s wrong Sirius, what did you do” he asked sternly.

“Just totally fu.ck up my entire life and hurt the one person I am supposed to protect” I sigh.

“What the hell do you mean speak clearly for fu.ck sake” he shouts at me.

“Sienna is my mate, I met her at Callum’s coronation, we slept together, and then I walked out telling her I didn’t want a mate who couldn’t wait for her mate. I had no idea who she was until Rayne knocked me on my a.ss and called me out, and even Chris seemed to know who she was talking about. Now I know she won’t even be here because I am, and I have no fu.cking idea what to do” I explain.

“You should have known exactly who she was, and with your reputation, you have no place questioning others past you i***t. You are probably the first person that poor girl has let close, and she may be carrying my fu.cking grandchild. Do you know how potent our sperm is with our mates? Most of our mates conceive the first time with a royal dragon. Tell me you at least used protection and that poor girl is not left on her own, possibly carrying your child and feeling rejected and probably felt the pains of betrayal” he roars.

“Sh.it I never thought about that, I haven’t slept with anyone. Blaze wouldn’t let me, and it just did not feel right. I don’t think we used anything. What the fu.ck am I going to do dad, how do I make things right with her?” I ask, worried.

“I suggest you ask Rayne and Mack if they know where she is or how to get in touch with her. She doesn’t keep in touch with her family as far as I know. You will just have to hope they will give you a clue as to where she is. If she wants nothing to do with you then I am sorry that’s your own fault and you better not get in the way of your mother and I spending time with our grandchild if she is pregnant” he says still angry at me.

“I know, I won’t give up, I know how much I have scr.ewed up, and I will do what I can to sort it” I say, getting off the phone.

I try and speak with Mack and Rayne, I also try and chat with a few members of her team. None of them will give out her contact information, and they all say she is no longer at the elite squad grounds. Rayne said she didn’t tell her where she was staying, only that she couldn’t come because of me. It looks like I am scr.ewed for now, and I will be searching a few places.

I give them all my contact numbers and email address and ask them to pass it off to her. I make sure they know I have no intention of rejecting her and that I know how badly I have messed up and just want to do anything I can to fix things with her.
