Laura’s giggle fills the air, while her hand stay in the water, as the dolphins in it, play around her fingers. Her excitement clearly visible in her eyes, such that Laura can not recall the last time to which she feels carefree and coming to Barbados with Adrian is certainly one of the best decision she makes.
It’s has been exactly six days since the two sealed the bond to their contract marriage, and each passing day to Adrian is at a relaxation, rather than agony which he envisaged.
Laura takes her hand away from the water, while she watches in reverence of the dolphin moving away from her. “I have only envisaged this, and even if I did want to come, I guess I couldn’t find the right time,” Laura speaks to Adrian whom stays behind her.
“I’m glad you’re able to now,” Adrian responds.
“It’s all thanks to you Adrian. I’m grateful.” Laura speaks, with her gaze soft on him.
“Laura, I have informed you and I’m doing it again,” Adrian responds to Laura, by taking a step closer to her. “You do not have to thank me. You have done me the biggest favor I could ever ask for by marrying me and you didn’t ask for anything in return, what kind of a man would I be if I can not give you all I can to show my appreciation.” Adrian continues, whereas Laura has her gaze upward staring at Adrian. “More so, do not forget you have become a billionaire’s wife.” Adrian says, as with his last statement comes a smirk from him.

Laura wears a pair of ripped baggy jeans, with a crop top while exiting her room to meet Adrian whom is dressed in pair of sweatpants and a sweat shirt, before they leave for a hangout with Adrian’s friends.
“Is this one of your reasons for us coming to Barbados?” Laura inquires from Adrian while he drives.
“No.” Adrian answers, with a glance at Laura while driving. “I do have friends in most part of the country, so be it Europe we go or Seychelles, I would meet familiar faces.” Adrian tells Laura regarding their hangout with his friends. “Hearing I’m in town and since they couldn’t attend our wedding, they are curious to meet the infamous Mrs Alimson,” Adrian adds with a light chuckle, while Laura smiles and it doesn’t take Adrian a second to realize Laura’s nervousness. “Incase I forgot to add, they all will be coming with their partners,” Adrian adds, taking Laura to nod lightly, with her nervousness decreasing.
Adrian turns off the engine of the car, taking the two to get down, before walking into the exorbitant parlour. “Adrian!” Laura lips turns into a smile, staring at the four men whom certainty is Adrian’s friends, converse and greet jovially him as they arrive in the bar room.
“And this must be the beauty whom has captured the one and only Adrian Alimson,” One amongst Adrian’s friends takes his attention to Laura, taking Laura to smile decently at his statement.
“Even the famous Adrian is indeed able to love,” Another of Adrian’s friend speaks, causing Laura to chuckle lightly.
“Like they say, there is a woman for every man,” Adrian speaks as a matter of fact causing the four men to chuckle. “My apologies, I have not formally introduced you all to Laura,” Adrian’s gaze rests on Laura, as his one hand goes to circle around the skin on her waist. “Laura, meet, Flinch, Jackson, keeran and Peter. Guys meet my wife, Laura.” Adrian gives the formal introduction, whereas Laura places their names accordingly for the one whom speaks first to Laura is Jackson, and the second, to be flinch.
Adrian’s hand around Laura’s waist, caress lightly, taking her to move her body closer to him, as their stance soon become natural than pretense.
“It is my pleasure to meet you all.” Laura says to the men.
“And it is ours to finally meet the one and only Mrs Alimson,” Peter speaks, taking Laura to blush. “And accept our apologies, for not able to attend the wedding,” Peter adds.
“Please do not feel burdened, for Adrian has informed me of your intentions.” Laura says.
“By the way, where is Dalia, Vera, Hillary and Kate?” Adrian inquires recalling each of their partners, while gazing around his environment.
“Oh they are on their way, you know how Dalia is and shopping, and she took the others with her.” Jackson responds, In respect to his fiancé. “They will be ecstatic to meet you Laura,” Jackson adds, taking Laura to smile even more as this proves to Laura the importance of the circle one keeps, for each of Adrian’s friends is a persons of importance in the society.

Adrian and Laura sit on a couch together, in the clamorous room, whereas each person is engaged in a discussion with another, until Jackson’s fiancé, Dalia raises a glass wine, taking the crowds attention.
“How about we play a game while we keep ourselves busy and have fun. After all, it isn’t everyday we get to see one another.” Laura listens to the blonde woman whom resembles a movie star with her fashion style.
“I’m up for what’s Dalia suggests,” Adrian is first to speak, taking Dalia to smile at him in acknowledgment, for each of them know of the friendship between Dalia and Adrian, such that each of them always takes the others side in groups, that is except from Laura whom is futuristic to the circle.
“Well, I have my friend and her boyfriend joining us, so I envisage we can play a truth and dare game, since we’re all couples.” Dalia speaks, taking the others to nod their head in acknowledgment, while Adrian turns his attention to Laura with a gaze of permission present in his eyes.
“Are you fine with it?” Adrian speaks gently to Laura in consideration, while his gaze stares vividly at her.
“I won’t want to be the fun killer, would I?” Laura responds with a smirk on her lips, taking Adrian to smile, as from the eyes of the others, they view the two to be in love.
“Laura is fine with it, so I’m in.” Adrian speaks, taking Dalia to pass Laura a smile.
“I knew I liked you,” Dalia comments taking Laura to chuckle lightly. “Alright since everyone is in, the rules is simple, if you’re not able to answer a question or do what you’re told, you drink and keep drinking till we’re satisfied,”
“Isn’t that a bit harsh babe,” Jackson places a hand on Dalia whom stands.
“Okay, three shots if you can not do what’s asked.” Dalia reconstructs her words, while the group nod in acceptance.
“And where is this friend of yours?” Flinch inquires sitting beside his wife Kate.
“She would join us when she’s here, I believe she’s running late… oh here she comes.” Dalia begins, before her gaze moves to catch her guest. Laura’s gaze and the rest of the group moves to catch a sight of Dalia’s friend, taking Laura to access a blonde in a black mini sleeveless dress and a male of interracial origin having a hand to her waist, showcasing to be her boyfriend as Dalia stated.
“Hi Dalia,” The blonde speaks, while she reaches Dalia and pulls her into a hug. Laura watches vividly as a particular feeling concerning the newcomer errs to her.
“Everyone meet Chelsea. Chelsea meet…” Adrian reverts to wait for Dalia’s conclusion when his gaze goes hard, and his body stiff at the familiar face of a particular blonde he happens to have a previous relationship with. Chelsea’s gaze meets with Adrian, taking a disbelieve stare across her face.
“Hi guys,” Chelsea’s gaze leave Adrian to the rest of the group, only to return while having a smirk on her lips. “Hi Adrian,” Chelsea utters in particular, causing Laura’s attention to peek at her manners.
“Hello Chelsea,” Is all Adrian speaks before taking his gaze away from Chelsea, as it doesn’t take a layman to know of a relationship existing between the two.
Laura retains her patience and composure, whilst watching the two delicately, especially Chelsea, as she and her boyfriend, Travis take a couch. Each pair takes their position, while Dalia begins the game by spinning a bottle of empty vodka, and like they say, secrets are eventually exposed, the bottle spins and halts on the first two with an intriguing relationship.
Adrian and Chelsea.
“Well this will be fun.”
