CARTER
He parked his car in that condo building’s parking lot. Before even alighting the car, he checked himself in the mirror, and put on his shades. He gave out a devilish smirk. Got you, Hot Ink Gossip blog!
So as it seems, madaming pera sa pagpapakalat ng tsismis. This gossip girl is living in a posh area, this real estate is in a quaint and elegant level. Oh, baka naman may sugar daddy din ito? He had several images of this woman in his head, but he can’t seem to pinpoint in one. First of all, from her voice, she can either be arrestingly ‘okay’ for a woman, like common and all, or she can also be someone weird and fugly.
Maybe the last one, considering the toxicity and downright damages she’s done to celebrities and influencers, she must have nothing anything interesting in her life to do, except ruin people.
Right? Right. Good job on Logan, who he tricked in finding this woman’s location. Medyo wala rin sa sarili si Logan, at basta tumango na lang sa request niya. Logan didn’t even bother what he is up to, normally, Logan would discuss wether something is ethical or logical, kaya’t nagbaon siya ng pamatay na alibi pero hindi na ito nangusyoso.
Naaalala pa niya ang pagmumura nila sa isa’t-isa sa cellphone. It was making his blood boil, but is making him excited at the same time too. He wonders what he’ll say in front of this woman. What would be bitter for her and a sweet revenge for him?
What would make her hate him more? Those are the thoughts that excites Carter Vallejo.
Logan even gave the exact room number, he didn’t know how he did it, some kind of sorcery, but this was so fun, to finally doorbell the condo apartment of his mortal archnemesis.
It took him at least three rings, until finally ay may bumukas.
“Ano ba-“ nakabusangot ang mukha ng babae, and her hair was still dripping wet, falling in her exposed clavicle, her hair all over, her legs exposed, and the only thing clothing her was a bath towel wrapped around her body.
It seems ay inistorbo niya ito sa gitna ng pagliligo nito! There were some specs of bubbles from the shampoo in her hair.
Napamulagat ito, natutop ang bibig, at marahilsa sobrang gulat at halos paglundag ay hindi nito namalayan na hindi maayos ang pagkaka-wrap ng towel nito, at dumausdos ang towel nito sa sahig.
Carter’s eyes shoot in, in shock, in surprise, and in an amazement by the whole mesmerizing thing in front of him. She was fair, almost like a doll, and wrapped in a cute but all in the right size shape of the body, making her all enticing and a cute vixen at the same time, god, she was wonderful… Like a goddess ready to lure him in.
Except that she was screaming, shrieking in that hall, nag atubili itong hagilapin ang humalagpos na towel nito.
“C-Carter?” recognition started to register in her face, and it was replaced by sheer venomous hatred. “Oh god you!”
“Y-yeah, let me explain” he stepped in forward.
“Go away!” she was shrieking, napatakbo ito palayo sa kaniya, in the middle of that space of living room. “You psycho!”
Psycho? Then what is this girl, she’s f*cking crazy! Napalitan ng pait ang timpla sa lalamunan niya.
“You’re the one whose crazy!” he aired. Everything flew out of his brain, and he closed the door at his back, eyeing her. “I’m just visiting!”
“How did you even find me?” it was an almost shriek. Now, observing her even more closer, he can see the small freckles and the blushing of her cheeks, maybe from anger, but it made her look more cuter and even sexier. Oh f*ck, what was he thinking? This is his enemy? But why is he turned on a bit? He can feel it from the pulsing from inside his tool. It was waking up, in this situation.
“You can gossip people’s private lives, but not anyone is allowed to know your place?” he smirked. “Here I am, just as promised-“
Dumilim ang paningin ng kausap.
“Please go out, Carter Vallejo. Or I’ll call the police.”
“Whoa—“
Natigilan siya, she was nasty. Not even a liar, but now someone who blackmails people.
“Alright,” he clenched his jaw, stroke his lower chin. “Sabihin na nating ipapatawag mo ang pulis. Wont you think the media will pick up on this? Isn’t your identity a top secret, Ms. Liar? And now, the world will know who you are, at kasama mo ang isang Carter Vallejo sa isang kuwarto na kayo lang dalawa, and-“
“S-stop!” and it dawned in her too. She was so easy to catch. She’s immediately trapped by her own antics, and internally, he felt triumphant.
“So what?” he said sarcastically. “Do you think you’re better than everyone, spreading lies, for your own benefit?”
The woman’s mouth opened and then closed, inaapuhap ang sasabihin pabalik sa kaniya. “You’re really an idiot, are you? It’s called a scoop. I don’t write lies! I write people’s confessions, or someone else’s confessions, I’m exposing truths!”
“Truths?” he snickered, now eyeing her intently, looks that could bare her soul all over again, looks that could make any other woman drop their towels again. He didn’t know why this person infront of him haven’t had any inkling of reaction to him, and it posted more as a challenge to him.
“How can you verify a truth?” he asked casually, “someone could claim that he’s telling the truth when it’s in fact a lie. You know, Ms. Gossip writer, people has different agendas. Puwedeng gumawa ng kuwento ang kung sino man, and you write things like it’s a fact when it’s not. And do you know what you do? You ruin lives?”
“Ruin?” hingap nito. “Kagaya ba ng ginagawa mo ngayon. Your trespassing my place?”
“Well,” nagpalinga linga siya. A part of him wanted to elongate their discussion. He didn’t even know her name. “I have no weapons. And I don’t want to be in another scandal again. I’m here to just explain my side. Kung gusto mo, hihintayin kita, you can dress up you know. I’m just here, wala akong gagalawin,” itinaas niya ang palad niya, gave out a full teeth smile. “Promise!”
Napa-atras ang estranghera. Stranger yet, because he didn’t get her name.
“I promise,” itinaas niya ulit ang palad, like a Boys scout.
Napabuga ng hangin ang babae, “Okay,” she slouched her shoulders in resignation. She looked cute like that, he thought. It’s nice if she’s not gnashing her mouth to say bad words at him. She can be an angel if she’s just silent.
“Don’t touch anything, like anything?”
“Never, ma’am,” he grinned.
“Hindi ako makapaniwala,” she aired, sighing, looking at him.
“You finish your stuff? Okay?” so when did they start being friends. He sounded like a long time friend already, and he propped himself in the sofa. He was getting comfortable.
Is this her place? Is this a gift from her parents? Is this place funded by her gossip writer? He didn’t know gossip or scoop writers can be beautiful too. He used to be surrounded by forms of media and interviewers, but he hasn’t seen someone like her, she’s very feisty and cute at the same time.
Well, he has mingled with some lovely and voluptuous weather or news anchors, but it was just for the heat or casual flings.
But this one, she was different. It evoked lots of questions in his mind, he almost forgot why he was here. Oh okay, he was here because she needed s******g, opps, he meant a lecture. He smiled at the thought. Lecturing or giving her a dose of medicine. His mind started to wander.
“Ano bang iniisip mo diyan?” napukaw ang pagmumuni-muni niya ng boses ulit ng babae. She was dressed now, in a casual shirt and which looked like a thick leggings. But she was still so cute.
“Nothing,” he smirked again. For the first time in his life, he was being excited again, and maybe it’s a good thing.
Yeah. “So anong pangalan mo?” he asked.
