Yong Jie woke up late at night after sleeping the whole day and he found himself in the kitchen, looking for leftovers but only found some loaves of bread. He started making his dinner. After sating his hunger, Yong Jie walked to Yao Xue's room bringing with him a portion of the meal he cooked for Yao Xue. Knocking on the door, Yong Jie waited for a few seconds before he knocked again. No one answered so Yong Jie thought either Yao Xue went to the hot spring or went out. The later was impossible since it was already dark and Yao Xue doesn't have any business outside. Yong Jie sighed as he started to head to the hot spring when he saw a glimpse of white robes being blown with the wind above the roofs. Yong Jie smiled seeing Yao Xue sitting on the roof under the crescent moon. Yao Xue turned seeing Yong Jie leaping up to the roof with a box in his hand as he walked towards him. "Did young master Yao Xue had dinner already?" Yong Jie asked. Yao Xue just nodded his head and he watched Yong Jie sat beside him on the ridge, releasing a deep and long sigh as he looked at the beautiful moon. "Young master Yao Xue really like the stars and the moon." Yong Jie said. Yao Xue didn't say anything as he looked above the night sky. Yao Xue only loves the night atmosphere and not looking to the moon and stars but guess he was starting to like them too. Looking at the stars, Yong Jie suddenly felt sad. Everything happened so fast that it was making him dizzy. Zi Xin was gone and he didn't want to lose any more loved ones. "Yao Xue." Yong Jie called and Yao Xue just continued looking at the stars. "Stay." Yao Xue turned to Yong Jie. "Stay with me." Yong Jie said looking into Yao Xue's eyes. Yong Jie never felt that kind of feeling before. He didn't want to be separated by Yao Xue. It bothers him thinking about being away with Yao Xue making Yong Jie felt scared to himself. He was growing closer to Yao Xue and the more they spend more time together, the harder for him to let go. "Ahh-haha!" Yong Jie chuckled lifting the weird atmosphere in-between them. "Never mind, I—" "I will." Yao Xue interrupted, answering Yong Jie. Yong Jie looked at Yao Xue, surprised by his answer. "I will stay." Yao Xue repeated and Yong Jie pulled Yao Xue in a tight hug. Tears suddenly forming in his eyes but he fought not to let it out Everything would be okay as long as Yao Xue was in his side. Yao Xue still couldn't get used to someone hugging him or being that close to him but it was fine as long as it was Yong Jie. He raised his arms to place it on Yong Jie back when Yong Jie looked up to him. "Aren't you going to hug me back?" He grinned and Yao Xue gave him his usual cold face while silently bringing down his arms and let Yong Jie clung to him. ××× Yong Jie wanted to travel outside Dashan hunting demons. Madame Meixiu was against the idea fearing for Yong Jie but Sect Leader Qiang gave him permission making Yong Jie glad and taking Yao Xue with him. They planned to travel South, to Xiang Liao and Yong Xian went with them. Yong Xian frequents in Xiang Liao since the country was known for the abundance of different kinds of herbs and medicinal plants which the Yong Sect royal physician always asks for his escort or let Yong Xian go alone for supplies. He was close to the physician because of that reason and ever since then, Yong Xian will always escort the physician whenever he needed another stock of new supplies. The day before they departed to Xiang Liao, Yong Jie went to the market searching for the two mutts and found them to a new place, in a corner of a furniture store. They were playing on the ground, drawing with their sticks. Yong Jie cleared his throat catching their attention and their eyes immediately lightened seeing their rich big brother. "Rich big brother!" They called in chorus as they threw their sticks and hugged Yong Jie's legs. Yong Jie chuckled, ruffling the children's messy heads then turned his head to Yao Xue who was silently standing behind them. "Big brother Yao Xue will be playing with us!" Yong Jie enthusiastically announced. The children then noticed Yao Xue after they finished hugging Yong Jie and they went to Yao Xue, hugging him too, surprising Yao Xue. Two small kids hugging him on both legs as they stared up to him with admiration written in their eyes. Yong Jie pouted seeing how the children sticking to Yao Xue. "They like Yao Xao-gege immediately even only meeting for the second time." Yao Xue looked at Yong Jie, his eyes asking when will the children get off him making Yong Jie chuckled and crouching down to pick up Lan Nuan and leaving Lan Qing on Yao Xue's leg. "Yao Xue-gege has a lot of kids." Yong Jie grinned. Yao Xue didn't know how to carry a child so he let Lan Qing hug his leg. "Our kids." Yao Xue said, his eyes still cold. Yong Jie looked at Yao Xue and laughed so loud while nodding his head. They treated the kids with a meal to a different food place from before and Yong Jie noticed the two wearing a matching bracelet made of straws. "Mother made it." Lan Nuan said and Yong Jie smiled. They packed another meal for their parents. Yong Jie and Yao Xue walked the two back to their home. They were living in a very simple house. Lan Nuan called for his mother who answered back sounding far. Lan Nuan went inside, gesturing them to come inside then he ran outside. Their mother was in their little lawn, tending their garden. She was surprised to see her oldest son calling him saying they brought foods with them and that the rich big brother treated them to a meal. Her children have been talking about that older brother who plays and treats them food so the mother was familiar with their big brother without seeing the face. Lan Li smiled as she stood up, brushing her hands on her skirt thinking she would wash it after tending the garden. Lan Li was surprised when she entered their house and saw two flamboyant young masters dressed in white and black robes thinking her sons brought with them those big brothers they sometimes talked about. She looked at her dirty robes and felt ashamed. "Young masters." She saluted. "I'm so sorry—" Yong Jie held her arm cutting her in mid-sentence. 'Why would Lady Lan say sorry." Lan Li looked at Yong Jie. "We don't have foods to serve for your visit. My children have been talking about their big brothers. This poor lady couldn't thank these young masters enough for treating my sons well." Yong Jie smiled looking at Lan Li. She looked quite messy from tending the garden yet she was beautiful. Lan Qing looked like her mother. "A thank you will suffice, lady Lan." Yong Jie said. "Thank you, good young master." Lan Li said and scanned Yong Jie properly only realizing that it was the Third brother of Yong Sect. ××××××××
