Yong Jie pulled his body from Yao Xue, seeing his face in shock but Yong Jie didn't have the strength to stand up. He just stared at Yao Xue who was growing angry every second passed. "Get off!" Yao Xue roared making Yong Jie crawled away from him. "You're angry? It's wasn't my fault." Yong Jie said. "Shouldn't have saved you." Yao Xue said and Yong Jie saw him about to leave him, flying back to the roof in a graceful stance. "Ah!" Yong Jie cried as he grabbed on Yao Xue's foot but he only grabbed his boots and it slipped from Yao Xue's foot. "That's so mean! At least bring me with you." Yong Xue upon landing on top of the roof, glared down at Yong Jie. "Give me back my shoes." He said and Yong Jie looked at the white shoe he was holding and held it tight in his chest while shaking his head. "No, unless you fly me back inside." Yong Jie said like a child pissing Yao Xue to the point of showing his spiritual animal. That Yong Jie didn't only dirty his robes and stole his shoe, he also stole his first kiss! Yong Jie's eyes went wide and he couldn't believe what he was seeing. Suddenly, something was surrounding Yao Xue like wind and it formed into a transparent water snake floating in the air with its body circling Yao Xue. It freaked Yong Jie out but he couldn't look away. Yao Xue looked even more beautiful looking like a character in those fantasy video games. "W-What is that? Where did that come from?" Yong Jie pointed the snake. "Yong Jie, you've gone insane. Forgetting everything doesn't excuse you from doing improper and unnecessary things. Get inside the palace by yourself and don't show your face to me anymore." Yao Xue fumed and jumped down inside the palace. He really pissed Yao Xue. Yong Jie was left outside with only Yao Xue's shoe in his arms. "What a spoiled brat." He spat and stood up. "Such arrogance. Why does an arrogant man owns the type of face that I like? This is so f*****g unfair!" He kicked the ground and calmed himself. Yong Jie knew that Yao Xue was too angry to go back and rescue him again. "Are you the only one allowed to be angry? That was my first kiss!" He grunted and start walking toward the gates. It was around hai shi ( 9 ~ 11 pm) and he was the only living soul found walking around the streets like a lost dog. Yong Jie was cursing Yao Xue as he dragged his feet until he reached the gates of the palace. Of course, it was locked inside and in that hour, no one was there to open him. "So annoying." He muttered and sat on the stairs, slapping Yao Xue's white shoe on the pavement in frustration. ××× Yao Xue never felt that angry before. He was so furious that he wanted the Yong Jie to be feed to the hounds of hell. He walked back to his room fuming as his mind kept on repeating what happened. A man kissed him and it wasn't just a man, it was that lunatic Yong Jie. Yao Xue couldn't believe what happened to Yong Jie. Yong Jie turned into a complete i***t who forgot every little thing in the world. Yao Xue even forgot his missing shoe as he went inside his room and sat on the bed, calming himself and preserving his energy. Yao Xue removed the remaining shoe, crossing his legs and sat on it as he started to meditate. But his mind was in havoc. He couldn't concentrate. Maybe for the fact that a man just kissed him or that he left a clueless Yong Jie outside with no means of getting inside the palace. He wasn't worried. It's just his own conscience acting up. He could climb the wall since he could climb a tree. Yong Jie thought. He closed his eyes again then grunted. "That lunatic!" He exclaimed. Yao Xue walked around the empty streets and finally found Yong Jie who was in front of the gates, leaning his back on the wall and hugging his knees while sleeping. "How could he sleep like this." Yao Xue muttered and poked Yong Jie's leg with his foot. "Great third brother Yong Jie!" He called but Yong Jie was fast asleep. "Yong Jie!" Yao Xue called again and stomped on the pavement, making noises to wake him up. Yong Jie groaned and raised his head looking like a lost dog. He wagged his tail as if seeing his owner. "Yao Xue!" Yong Jie exclaimed, grinning and stood up. He cried when his numb legs weren't able to support him and Yao Xue was fast with his reflexes, catching Yong Jie. Yao Xue supported Yong Jie's shoulders and Yong Jie clung to Yao Xue as he pulled himself up properly. "I know you'd come back." Yong Jie grinned. Yao Xue just rolled his eyes, withdrawing away from Yong Jie and said nothing. "My legs are still numb." Yong Jie pouted. "Can you carry me? Just this time." He begged and Yao Xue couldn't believe what he was hearing. Yao Xue hasn't carried anyone before and he didn't want this Yong Jie to be the first. Was stealing his first kiss wasn't enough? "Do you want to go inside or not?" Yao Xue asked then turned around, walking to where they fell almost half an hour ago. "So cold." Yong Jie murmured and limped after Yao Xue. He was cold and his knees were shaking. He just wanted to go back to his room and doesn't want to see Yao Xue again. "So slow." Yao Xue protested. "Shut—wah!" Yong Jie was surprised to see Yao Xue marching towards him, grabbing his arm and placed it around Yao Xue's shoulders and carried Yong Jie like a princess making him cry. "Don't tell a soul about what happened tonight." Yao Xue said in a warning tone. Yong Jie was determined not to get involved again with Yao Xue a second ago but how could he forget about this bipolar young master. Even though Yao Xue had a venomous tongue, his actions sometimes contradict his words. So cute. It was Yong Jie's first time feeling his heart thumping like crazy as he stared at Yao Xue's face. Yao Xue really has the face of the type of woman that Yong Jie likes. Yong Jie held tightly on Yao Xue's neck and he almost lost with Yao Xue's sandalwood scent. "I won't tell a living soul." Yong Jie said. ××××××××
