The two other men showed me the way to their office. I sat down in the big chair as they all stood in the doorway. Then I saw it. A photo of my supposed grandfather with a young girl who is my mom. Something flickered in me that I could feel. I picked the photo up and smashed it against a wall.
“Now, let’s talk business,” I said. We talked about everything within this business. I would still allow them to stay here and do their jobs as they once did.
