Jamiro started to chat with Alliah that day. He wanted to know more about her. It's his chance now to express what he felt towards her 30 long years ago.
Alliah was now excited every time her mobile phone vibrated. She hadn't been busy chatting with someone before. It seemed that she enjoyed waiting for new messages from her elder sister's childhood friend.
They've shared their stories and jokes as if they've missed their childhood days. Alliah was so surprised when she learned that Jamiro knew almost everything about her, especially her simple doings when she was just 14 years old.
"Wow, you remembered that," Alliah asked her. She was almost bursting with tears with the jokes and memories being shared by Jam. She didn't expect he was this jolly and fun to have a conversation with. She thought that he was such a scumbag person before.
"Yeah, I remembered everything. Especially when we were at your home and having some snacks, you used to close all the windows and then run inside your room. Why didn't you join us before even having snacks?" he asked her. Jam found out how smart she is right now.
He had some regrets now. Remembering how fun to be with her right now and how she survived so many trials in her life and is still struggling with her health now. If only he had confessed his feelings to her a long time ago.
He felt that he had missed so many opportunities with her. He should have taken care of her and protected her before. She should not have suffered with the wrong man in her previous marriage. There were lots of "should" popping inside his head right now.
"Thanks for chatting with Jam. I need to update my novel now. Nice to meet you this time," Alliah messaged him. She also thought of those wasted moments she'd missed during her childhood.
If only she had met him and gotten along with him before, she might have liked him. "He seemed to be a nice guy. I've mistaken him for a scumbag and bad guy before. I was wrong," she said to herself.
Alliah was so happy chatting with Jamiro most of the time. It added excitement to her writing career as she created so many scenarios for scenes every time they have a conversation.
She used to share some thoughts with Jamiro and he even suggested some stories. They used to collaborate most of the time and Alliah always appreciated it.
"Thank you so much Jam for sharing some thoughts. I will add those to my storyline," Alliah happily replied to Jamiro's message.
"It's my pleasure to share it with you. Being a part of your writing career is awesome. Thank you also for accommodating me," Jamiro told her.
"Honestly Jam. I was mistaken by you before. I thought that you were such a bad guy then. I am sorry for that. I couldn't imagine how nice you were before, compared to now that we get along with each other. But really, I am very very happy knowing you now," Alliah honestly confessed to Jamiro.
Jamiro then smiled upon reading Alliah's message. If only Alliah had been approachable then, she could have been his wife by now.
Jamiro said to himself," I will confess my feelings to you this time, Alliah. I will never miss any opportunities anymore. It's now or never." Jamiro is hoping that this time, everything will be aligned. He will confess to Alliah and will take care of her already.
Almost every day, the two then never missed an opportunity to exchange messages with each other. They usually talked about most of their 1990s memories. Jamiro shared with Alliah how he used to stare at and stalk her when she was still fourteen years old.
He was quite shy before expressing his feelings to her as Alliah's parents treated him so nicely. He didn't want to ruin the reputation his parents made for him.
But he did wish that, somehow, he had given a hint to Alliah. He missed those years of being with her and taking good care of her at that time. If he could only bring back the past.
He would elope with her and she was his beloved wife this time.
Alliah was pretty amazed at Jamiro's confession. She was indeed surprised and at the same time found her heart pounding with joy.
"If only you had confessed before," she told him.
"I felt so ugly that time, as nobody treated me especially. That's the reason why I kept hiding from everybody, leading them to think that I was a snob. I just had this inferiority complex before," she replied to Jamiro.
"You are so beautiful, then and until today," Jamiro said while smiling. He wanted to hug Alliah personally but he couldn't for now.
Surely, when they met, he would hug and kiss her. He has loved this girl since then.
Jamiro smiled and kissed the screen of his mobile phone.
Alliah, on the other hand, smiled as well. She felt something special about Jamiro. She starts to miss every second if he does not send any messages to her.
"You know what, Alliah? I will visit you as soon as possible," Jamiro said to her.
"Well, I will wait for you then," Alliah excitedly responded to him.
They exchange a few more messages and memories before they end their chat.
Both were so happy with each other and continued their tasks for that day.
Alliah was so inspired to continue writing her novel. Jamiro is inspiring her to write and making her create beautiful stories out of it.
Alliah's fingers started to press her keyboard and smilingly write what was in her imagination. Writing gives her a new dimension of imagination and creates things that are impossible to become possible.
She was so inspired and motivated to create romantic stories of a lifetime.
Her sister Apple was wondering and smiling while seeing how inspired her sister Alliah was in front of her laptop. Alliah was smiling around.
