Since Alliah used to read a lot of digital ebooks already, she said to herself," I think I can write also. I was good at writing poems and short stories when I was in high school and college."
She then decided to explore digital platforms in writing a novel. She unleashed her hidden potential in writing her very first romantic novel.
She found herself happy writing romantic novels at first to keep herself busy while her body was still recuperating. She can't do any physical work, that's why she chose to write instead.
She wanted to make all her dreams come true through writing. It's free then to dream, and she will dream big now. She hasn't been successful in her love life before, but now she will fulfill it by writing romantic novels. Perhaps she can make her dream of having a complete family through her writings.
Apple then recognized how busy her sister Alliah was with her laptop. She didn't know what her sister was doing, she just thought that Alliah was looking for a work-from-home job since she couldn't apply physically for now.
No one from their home realized that Alliah was now an author. They were just letting Alliah enjoy typing on her laptop the whole day.
It was to her surprise to realize that it's really fun to write. She was so inspired to be at her keyboards and her imagination was overflowing.
Her story was somewhat similar to her life. She can now give happy endings to her dark past. Her story seemed to be her new dimension of sharing her thoughts and twisting some conflicts into an opportunity to love.
She chose the romance genre of single mothers. She wanted to focus on this kind of genre to express how she felt and experienced as a single mother. To inspire single parents and not be judged by the people around them
"I can make happy endings here. I can even twist my stories here," she told herself.
She continued typing words coming to her mind. She was so intense at writing stories.
She even conducts some research to make her scenes realistic and real.
It was a bit surprising to her family that what she had been working out for a few days was an unleashing talent she had been keeping for such a long time.
Alliah found herself busy with her keyboards. She doesn't feel any tiredness working out a great story. It was partially a story of her life and how she would make a twist and turn over to make it a happy ending.
She is now writing with her heart, all her dreams are now being placed in her first book. She had twisted a lot of conflicts about her failed marriage life into a journey of having a happy life by meeting someone else. She smiled at the thought of having a love life in her book.
She hadn't experienced a real boyfriend-girlfriend relationship since her marriage with her ex-husband happened to be a whirlwind romance. It was a bit complicated for her to give some emotions in her story since she didn't feel the sincerest feeling of being loved by her ex-husband.
She had some writer's block along with her writing journey, making her do lots of research and interviews with her friends and colleagues.
"Aaaaam! I thought it was just an easy task," she exclaimed to herself. She stood up then and went to their kitchen to prepare a fresh apple and orange juice from their juicer.
She took her juice to their terrace and had a seat. She savored her fruit juice while thinking of some good memories when she was still with her ex-husband. There were only a few good memories, the majority seemed to bring out her trauma, making her tears fall down her cheeks.
She remembered all the pain and how she was beaten then. Never in her entire life did she think that it would happen to her. She had a good soul and yet she had encountered a monster who ruined her life. A flashback of her nightmare from her ex-husband started to run through her memory.
Little did she know that she was sobbing already.
Apple heard her sobs. "Hey, Alliah, why are you crying?" Apple was so worried seeing her sister cry so hard.
"I can't help it. It continuously haunts me. My dark side with him," Alliah confessed, then continued sobbing in her two hands.
Apple hugged her and said, "It's over. He can't hurt you now. You're free. Stop crying now, your wound might be opened."
Alliah finds comfort in the arms of her sister. She's so emotional now. After crying, she felt sleepy already and went to her bedroom.
Apple accompanied her and helped her lay on her bed. "Sleep well, my dear sister. No one can harm you here. You are already in our hands," she said.
"Thank you Apple," Alliah said before closing her eyes.
Apple stared at her sister Alliah while she slept soundly. She can't help but pity her. Alliah made so many sacrifices after her marriage failed. They thought that she could easily cope with her trauma, yet her health seemed to fail as well. They were all praying for the safe and fast recovery of Alliah as she still had a son who needed a mother.
Despite Alliah's struggles with her trauma from her previous husband and her health condition, she never showed her family that she was weak. She has a strong personality and does not give up easily. Her parents and siblings were so amazed at how strong a survivor Alliah was.
She cried alone and tried to keep all her sorrows from her family, especially from her son Joshua. She wanted her son to see how strong her mother was.
Apple can't help but admire her sister Alliah. She is so proud of herself. She adored Alliah so much, if only she could get a part of Alliah's pain, she is willing to endure it. She wanted to give comfort to her sister as Alliah deserved to be happy and live long.
